Picked these up at our local target and just ordered another pack to avoid having none due to the inevitable loss of one or two. Baby was given pacifier from day two at the hospital. We switched to these when she was a week old. She’s now a month old and still uses it. It doesn’t cause a rub rash/irritation like the hard plastic ones do. She has no issues with it. I’m sure it’s mostly a baby preference as she will take any bottle given to her but I do like that it doesn’t cause her any irritation.
Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this Pacifier! We received this pacifier when my daughter was born and since I am exclusively nursing, I was afraid to introduce her to a pacifier right away. Well she is now 2 months old, and I ended up introducing pacifiers to her a little earlier than expected because she likes to comfort nurse due to her acid reflux. Thankfully, these pacifiers are one of the few brands she will actually take, which is a lifesaver for me! I've notice that she seems to prefer that silky, textured nipple and the shape of the actual nipple versus other brands. I like that the handles on the pacifier have large holes to allow for airflow. This will be a nice feature when she starts drooling from teething and will help prevent any rashes (we had this issue with my first!). I also appreciate that the material is BPA-Free and the design of the nipple is orthopedic-approved. This are important factors for me when determining which products to buy. I also love the case they come in and that you can actually sterilize the pacis in the case! Not sure if this is a unique feature, but will be very convenient when we are out in about! The design is cute, but I hope they come out with some gender neutral colors in the future.
I've always been a huge fan of Avent pacifiers since my firstborn child. Now on my 4th, I still have them as my #1 go-to pacifier! My kids have been VERY picky when it comes to one they will take and I can truthfully say this is one that I can count on to not be rejected in their time of need. The new benefits and design of this one in particular just make a already great product even better! The fact they have open space all around the nipple so spit isn't trapped and rubbing all over the face is a MAJOR plus, especially in the winter when skin is a whole lot more sensitive, especially for babies! I just love the design too, they are so cute for my little girl, my first of 3 boys! Plus, the storage case they come in that doubles as a sterilizer is a very handy concept, especially for my daughter who tends to have her pacifiers that she drops, played with by her slightly older brothers! Just add water, pop it in a microwave and good to go! Most of all, I like the material being silicone and nice and soft. I feel at ease knowing the material isnt harmful to them in any way and is completely safe and non toxic. I will continue buying these as long as my children use them! I swear by them 100%! I received the product as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel!
Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this Pacifier. I tried to give this pacifier to my 4.5 month old multiple times. He would not suck on it and only chewed it a little bit. However, he has not really taken any of the other pacifiers I have tried much either. I was hoping this would be different, especially considering the package says 98% acceptance. He will suck on the Phillips soothie, a little bit. I wish it worked for us but doesn't.
I was provided with the Philips Avent pacifiers by the weeSpring Parent Panel to test and my daughter loves it. We have been using other Philips Avent pacifiers and these are her favorite. She loves the design and prefers it over other brands. I love that it comes with it's own sanitizing/carrying case. It makes my life so much easier! If you a mom on the go, you need to have a couple of pacifiers in your bag because, you know, they fall out lol. So having them in a nice clean case makes my life easier. I always sanitize all my daughter's bottles and pacifiers, and this is just makes it easier and more convenient. In summary, my daughter and I love the new Philips Avent Ultra Air pacifiers and the design is cute too!
I didn't plan on introducing the pacifier until later but I had become the human pacifier within the first month so I decided to introduce the pacifier when he was 2 months so I can get some sleep during the night. The Philips Avent ultra air pacifier is perfect for his eczema sensitive skin as it keeps the area around the mouth dry. It is also very easy to attach a pacifier clip on. The case is also very useful for transport as well as sterilization. Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this Pacifier.
My newborn daughter really enjoys this pacifier, and I liked the cute little designs on the front. My only critique is that I wish it came with a pacy-strap attached to it so I didn't have to attach my own. A small annoyance but definitely not a deal breaker for us. I didn't notice any changes in her skin being drier or less chapped than normal but so far that hasn't been a big concern for us. As she starts teething though, I'm sure that will become a great benefit for her. The carrying case made it especially convenient to keep the pacifiers clean. I used a two fold cleaning process. Each day I would soak the pacifiers in the kitchen sink with warm, soapy water and 3 drops of bleach added in. For added cleanliness, once a week I sanitized them in the microwave with my breastfeeding pump parts. The whole process takes less than 2 minutes. It should be noted that I was sent this pacifier by WeeSpring Parent Panels in exchange for my unbiased review. No compensation of any sort was received for this review.
I remember being five months pregnant, standing in front of a wall full of pacifiers at the store thinking, how can there be so many options for such a staple baby product?? And then I read online that babies can be picky about which pacifiers they take and started to worry about how many different pacifiers I'd have to try before my little one was happy. When my baby arrived, he was a little picky about which pacifier he preferred and had a hard time keeping the pacifier in his mouth. After trying several brands, the Philips Avent Ultra Air Pacifier was one that seemed to do the trick! He spit it out a lot less frequently so I wasn't constantly replacing the pacifier, which was amazing during nap times and night time. He's also prone to eczema-like rashes on his face (especially because he's already a huge drooler at 3 months old!), and the air flow around the outside of these pacifiers seemed to help keep his skin drier and less chapped compared to other pacifiers. The two-pack of pacifiers also came with a plastic carrying case that doubles as a sanitizer when you add a little water and pop them in the microwave - super convenient, sanitary and every mom loves a double-duty baby product! The bulb didn't suck up any of the water either, which I've found to be the case with other brands. The only minor downside is the big ring on the back of the pacifier makes it easy for little, grabby hands to reach up and pull it out of their mouths as baby gets older, but the good news is he figured out how to pop it back in on his own a few weeks later! I highly recommend this pacifier to any moms of babies with sensitive skin or who are having a hard time keeping their pacifier in their mouth. Thank you to weeSpring Parent Panel for sending me this pacifier to try and review!
