Q: I found the model Norelco 5100 very slow. It doesn't cut well. Nor does it mention the cutting speed. The Norelco 5300 mentions cutting speed up to 90,000 cutting actions per minute. What is the 5100? I'm thinking of trading up if it's different.

The main reason to upgrade was the fact that I could not buy replacement blades for the old model. This has a nice fluid head, and the color ring changes based on the proper pressure against my face. Blades are good, but not amazing. My biggest fault with the shaver is the pop up trimmer does not have a lock position, and rests at an awkward angle. The pop up tends to fold in as soon as I try to use it.

Does exactly what I need it to do... Shave my whiskers between blade shaves. Amazingly quiet, very comfortable with flexible, circular rotating cutter heads. Very easy to clean when the faucet icon in the handle indicates the need. Well engineered, well thought-through, well produced, and well priced. I am pleased with this product.
