The feature of 'vacuuming' the hair into the compartment is in theory a good design. In practice it still leaves a lot to be desired. The detachable head and clip-on grooming tools are cheaply made of brittle plastic. I used this for about a year and a half, during which all of the grooming attachments broke. Finally the fixed blade in the trimmer head came loose. Replacement head seemingly unavailable. Hopefully the next in the series will be better.

Worked great until the 2-year warranty expired

I purchased the 7000 2 years and 3-1/2 months ago and used it 2 or 3 times a week and it worked great until this morning. Without warning, something happened to the mechanism that raises the trimmer up and down, and the trimmer suddenly collapsed from the 7.5 setting to .5. Not being fully caffienated yet, I didn't realize what had happened until 1/3 of my 'stashe had been reduced to stubble, and that happened very fast. Nothing to do but mow down the rest of my beard and moustashe to match, and now wait for it to grow out again. I am not pleased.

Like many others, the plastic clip broke on the trimmer head after less than a year of 2x/week use. It broke with literally no pressure. Just inserting into housing!

Comes apart during use

I have been using this razor for the last 10 months. Lately, the trimmer blade head pops off the motor when using. The prongs that are supposed to hold the trimmer together are not long enough to snap into the correct position to keep the trimmer head from coming undone. Very disappointed since I can no longer use this trimmer that I was previously pretty happy with.

Cheap Plastic Parts Break After Minimal Uses

I got this trimmer for Christmas less than one year ago and use it once or twice a week. In less than 100 uses the plastic clip that holds on the cutting head broke making the razor impossible to use. The parts are extremely cheap thin plastic and I would not recommend this trimmer.

Just like the other reviews... The Blade Head/Clipper doesn't attach anymore... I bought it 6 months ago and i dont even use it that much, I think i only charged it twice... Oh!, and the vacuum system is not that good. It claims it catches up to 90% of hair... i would say more around 60% Won't buy any Philips trimmer anytime soon

Poor Quality - Blade Head/Clipper Design

Writing this review after purchasing two trimmers of the same model. BLADE Head was made out of cheap plastic and this will be broken of few months usage. As posted in the photo, it is very delicate and then, it will not fit to the mail beard trimmer. I love the Vacuum System on this model so that is the only reason for the second time purchase. But same plastic piece issue made me realize to forgot/never purchase 7200 series models from Philips. After long call/chat with customer care - Philips, they have offered me to send the Blade [1] Kit again! I have asked them not to send it again. Rather I will mail them two trimmer set for free of charge!
