Description

Achieve 1000% more plaque removal¹ with the Philips Sonicare 6100 Series sonic toothbrush combined with the S2 Sensitive electric toothbrush head. Enjoy a powerful yet gentle clean, even in those hard-to-reach areas. This rechargeable toothbrush uses the Next-Generation Sonicare Technology. The motor adjusts power automatically, so there is zero drop in performance when you reach those harder-to-clean areas. Enjoy a gentle yet effective clean for your teeth and gums with 62,000 bristle movements per minute. Sonicare Fluid Action supports the bristles to clean by driving fluid deep between teeth and along the gumline. A visual pressure sensor at its base gently lets you know if you're overdoing the pressure. Simply ease off when it lights up to protect your gums. Give your clean a boost with 6 brushing settings. Whether you want a little more vigor or a specific focus for your clean, you can have it. Choose between Clean and Sensitive mode, and pick one of three intensity levels. Ace your session time with Sonicare’s cleaning timers. Every 20 seconds, the BrushPacer will prompt you to clean a new area. After 2 minutes, the SmartTimer will indicate your session is complete. Did you know that brush heads become less effective after three months? Dental professionals recommend changing your brush head regularly, which is why Philips Sonicare toothbrushes have a brush head replacement reminder. It tracks how often and how hard you brush, then reminds you to replace your brush head once it's time for a new one. Experience up to 21 days of regular brushing after a single charge, bringing a new level of convenience to your brushing routine. The included travel case makes it a perfect choice when looking for a travel electric toothbrush. ¹ in hard-to-reach areas vs. a manual toothbrush in 6 weeks

Great features with an App to help chart routine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best purchase ever! This toothbrush is incredible. Former user of another popular electric toothbrush, but so glad I bought this toothbrush. Cleaning is second to none and my teeth feel so clean the whole day! Ease of care and utilizing the App to help with daily care routine is extremely helpful. This toothbrush is a must have for anyone experiencing plaque buildup or just for whitening teeth and overall dental hygiene.

    Not my favorite

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had sonicare toothbrushes for years. I thought the pressure feature would be great, but I was wrong. Apparently that's only great for people with chimps m completely straight teeth. Mine aren't and the pressure sensor constantly thinks I'm pushing too hard when really it is just a new tooth that has entered the scene sticking further out so where I'm pressing still has gone pressure but the toothbrush stops brushing. This was evident upon my dental cleaning last week when I had more plaque build up than I've ever had. Also, you should get an option of which toothbrush head you'd like to come with the toothbrush instead of them giving you the biggest head available.

    Disappointed

The button on this toothbrush is very hard to press and the three different settings all brush in a very similar fashion, ie. they all switch 6x, with very little difference in pressure. I am very disappointed with this one. I have had other Philips toothbrushes in the past and they were all a lot easier to use and the times that they switch, were different, depending on setting (ie. 4x for Clean, 6x for White, etc.).

    An effective appliance

I had an older version where the post holding the brush became wobbly. I researched and decided on the 6100. So far I have found it very effective. My hygienist will confirm or not when she looks at my teeth in July. I do find the placement of the intensity button inconvenient. It find it all too easy to accidentally change the intensity while brushing.

    Effective n affordable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this toothbrush and have been very pleased with it. Although I initially wanted the “Prestige 9900” model, but it’s out of my budget, this one exceeded my expectations. It feels comfortable in my hand, and my teeth feel cleaner after each use. For the price, it offers excellent value. I recommend this toothbrush as an effective and affordable option.

The adjustable settings is my favorite part.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After opening the new Sonic Care toothbrush and started using it I noticed a difference between the older one I purchased years ago. My gums are less sensitive and I finally feel like it's doing a great job. I like the settings the light when you're applying too much pressure. It's a great product and great value.

    Amazing toothbrush

I had mine about a week and was so totally taken by it that my wife went out and bought one as well. We cannot believe how clean and smooth our teeth are after we’ve finished brushing our teeth in the morning and in the evening. I used to use the manual toothbrush on occasion, but since I’ve got this one, I haven’t used it at all

Why didn't I buy this sooner??

I was skeptical at first that an electric toothbrush does better than manual one. At first glance, the toothbrush’s design is beautiful and sleek. The design for ease of use is well done. I love that it has a 2 minute timer and pressure sensors. After trying it out, my teeth have never felt any more cleaner. Another thing I love is that the brush head is that it can get into the back molars and smaller spaces without me struggling. Definitely worth the price and I highly recommend it!

Beware: I thought I was purchasing the 6100 series for $99.00 and when I got home and opened it, it had been replaced by the 4100 series which was only $49.00. So basically trying to pass it off as the more expensive and updated one with more features. Open it before you leave the store and make sure it is the correct one. Shame on Target

    Works great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used Sonicare over 30 years. Every time I get a new one, I swear it's the best I've ever had. This is close! The only thing that's missing is a 3 minute timer, I don't remember what setting that is. My former toothbrush had 4 settings, except the brush heads were tearing up my gums. My dentist told me to stop using immediately, and gave me a super soft manual toothbrush. When I saw this, I liked it had 3 settings for strength alone. The biggest issue I'm having is finding the correct replacement brush heads. There's so many out there, I wish the exact one was on the extra package. If anyone at Sonicare reads this, please advise.

Good but why quadrant alerts change?

Good power, like the multiple settings. Find it odd there is no longer 4-quadrant timing alerts (replaced by 6 shorter alerts) this I'm no longer sure each quadrant is getting the same length of time / attention.
