I've been using a Philips electric toothbrush for the last 5+ years and haven't had a single cavity since making the switch. The sleek design looks great on my bathroom counter, and it is super easy to travel with using the included travel case. My only knock is the experience with the app - I've had a recurrent issue where one particular area shows as unbrushed despite my always brushing it. Other than that app glitch, I highly recommend this product...and the app otherwise!

I can’t get the Bluetooth to work. The agent I spoke to suggested I reinstall the App but nothing has worked since.

Both my boyfriend and I have gotten this tooth brush and both of us have had to replace it within 2 years for the same issue, the metal rod you place the toothbrush head on started to wiggle as mold got into the rubber around it. I love this toothbrush and will probably buy again but make sure you follow through with checking out warranty specifics…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 2nd Sonicare Diamond Clean toothbrush. Very cool that it has a smart app to guide with brushing. The app does have some issues, such as when starting to brush, there seems to be a delay and it them ends up behind. I haven't been successful in getting in the brushing in the timeframe before brush turns off. It does give the opportunity to turn back on to finish, however, sometimes that doesn't happen and it just ends and says complete when it's not. Of course, the app isn't a deal breaker. It's more of a fun technology thing.

While I’m very satisfied when it’s working rarely does sonic care toothbrush last a year 3 -9 months is average life span out of 11 toothbrush units I have purchased First one lasted 2 years + then next one lasted couple months Went with cheaper models and they were even worse Gets loud and brush head axle gets real loose and it is then useless Since ridiculous fancy features started quality completely gone Going to try other brands

If this is your first electric toothbrush, it can take a while to get used to electric brushing. If you turn on your toothbrush without a brush head, it will make more noise. Always ensure that a brush head is attached to your toothbrush. If your toothbrush makes an abnormally loud noise, a loose brush head may be the reason. Ensure the brush head is firmly placed on the handle and not loose. A small gap will remain between the handle and brush head as needed for vibration. It could also mean that your brush head is worn. Even when both of my kids have an electric toothbrush they love. After hearing my gum line was deteriorating and teeth becoming more sensitive. I decided to get an electric toothbrush. Been using it for a few months now. Let me say I’m converted from a nonbeliever to a Big Believer/Fan. My teeth haven’t felt so good, clean or looked so white in a very long time. I’ve always had dental teeth cleanings at the dentist. As goofy as it sounds. Having the app to use and see while brushing teeth twice a day is helpful along with kind of fun to do each time. My teeth feel like I’ve just had my teeth cleaned at the dentist. It will be interesting to see what my dentist and hygienist say on my next cleaning. Last thing I can say is don’t be me, try out sooner than later. In my case it has been a surprising shock at how well I’ve liked it.

It may also be that the app does not take into consideration left handed brushing. Otherwise it is working great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Black SoniCare Serie 9500 (HX993B/220425) was a replacement/upgrade from my SoniCare Series 4900 (HX369WL/220627) which failed also under warranty, but was no longer available for replacement. My black series 9500 Diamotoothbrush worked beautifully for about 2-weeks, & then abruptly failed. It’s replacement, my current Lunar Blue Series 9500 Diamond Clean toothbrush (HX993L/220570), has also just failed in the SAME WAY as the two prior toothbrushes—working beautifully for 2-weeks, & then abruptly failing. In my opinion, the Sonicare Series motherboard needs to have this FATAL FLAW discovered and corrected—as there is NOTHING WRONG with the standard electrical wiring in my home!
