Welcome to the world of photosynthesis, the green strategy board game! plant and shape the ever-changing forest as you cultivate your seeds and your strategy. Take your trees through their life-cycle, from seedling to full bloom to rebirth, and earn points as their leaves collect energy from the revolving sun's rays. Carefully pick where you sow and when you grow, as trees in the shadows are blocked from light, and from points. This game features realistic gameplay and beautiful graphics.
This game is great! It’s super beautiful with a lot of 3D pieces and bright colors. The strategy is also brilliant. I think it’s complex enough for adults but easy enough for a young adult to follow. We’ve only played with 2 players so far, so I’m interested to see how it plays out with a larger group. Highly recommend!
I love this game! The premise sounds very boring but it is actually so much fun once you get into it. I can not wait to play again. The board is beautiful, game play is simple, and rules are easy to remember. This is on the top of my favorite games list!
Great game! Easy to play and moves at a good pace (not quick enough to be stressful or long enough to be boring lol). We play a LOT of games and it is refreshing to find games that aren't just a different design of the same old games (although we love those old games too). Our group consists of players ranging from 12 to 45 and was enjoyed by all.

Reviewed by a 15yr old who plays it: interesting game, great concept, similar to Catan if you like that game, with a cool twist.
Great environmental message!
Takes a longer time to play than your average game so this is a slight drawback.
This game uses its theme better than any I have seen before. It is an area control game where you are trying to grow your trees and then 'harvest' them to receive points. Trees gather 'light' (game currency) then use their light points to plant new trees or grow existing trees. The sun rotates around the board with each turn and hits the trees in different ways. All trees cast shadows which will cover some existing trees and potentially cut off your 'light points' for that turn. Great game! Rule book is small and to the point. Looks beautiful on the table. Very light game that requires a surprising amount of strategy. Perfect for family game nights.
