Does not taste like pishachio

The flavor is not pistachio. It is very sweet and artificial seeming, but doesn’t remind me of any other particular flavor. I have the same critique for the frosting. The texture and everything is consistent with other cake mixes but overall isn’t anything special.

Good for a Cake Mix

What you would expect from a pistachio cake mix. The pistachio flavor is stronger before it’s cooked, but is still there after cooking. Think like an almond extract or the almond filling of a almond croissant, but pistachio. Very similar. I made mine in a 9x9 glass pan which was not an option on the box for baking. They did have a 9x9 but for two rounds so mine was taller than it was supposed to be. I made mine into a tres leche with rose water infused whipped cream topping
