I have very dark circles but this concealer covered them up for the most part. It lasts all day. It was caking at first but I realized I was applying too much product at once. I minimized the application to one swipe and used a make up sponge to absorb any excess and even it out. Worked well! It's easy to apply. I agree they need more colors though. It was tough to find one that fitted my skin tone. Also, they could have more product in the bottle.
Great concealer. This is a pat on concealer like the name implies. It has a slight tackiness to it so rubbing it on will not work. I put it on the back of my hand and use my index finger to pat it or tap it on between brows, on eyelids, underneath eyes. Small bit of powder on eyelids to set it and it lasts all day. I have dry eye disease and wear contact lenses so use tears all day, most concealers will not hold up. This one does great. I’m a warm ivory, strawberry blonde and the cream tone works for me. I have dark circles underneath my eyes and my lids are very veiny. This gives a medium coverage that works for me and doesn’t look artificial, I try to have a natural look (as much as possible!). I’ve used Pixi’s gel blush for years and a big fan of it too.
I can not believe the lack of shade inclusivity. But for such a bad concealer I wouldn't want anyone else to use this. It has a bad consistency and goes on goopy. Does not blend well. Very drying. I returned it to my local store in Grafton, WI today. I can't believe it's almost 2019 and a world wide brand like Pixi has THREE shades in their collection.
The color and texture was lovely for about a week, but then the tube dried out super quickly while it was still quite full. I close it quickly after using and store it normally, but the formula seems to dry out really quickly over the course of a week or two.
okay i literally never write reviews, but i took time out of my day to hype up this cosmetic line bc it's the only thing that has saved my skin after years of trial and error. I'm 28, had clear skin all through life until i turned 25 (ain't life funny) and have been struggling with hormonal breakouts since. I am a chef and work in hot kitchens everyday, so i try to wear as little makeup as possible during the week, but that being said, I refuse to leave the house without some sort of concealer to cover my blemishes. This concealer covers my problem areas while still giving me a glowing (not greasy) natural look, and it lasts throughout my shifts. Not only all of this but i have noticed my blemishes have seriously reduced after just a week of use!!
I bought this based on the lady who was working for the makeup area at target. So far, I'm not sure what I think? I mean it works on my skin okay but I'm not sure if it's too light. I don't really care for the thick stick/brush thing. Also it seems like there's very little in there.
