I've purchased several of these over the past decade... pretty exterior, attractive materials... but the pumping mechanism is cheap & severely flawed. It will not suction the liquid soap through the dispenser. Very cheap components, low quality, do not buy. The risk of failure due to poor craftsmanship is far too high to spend $10-$20 on a pretty piece that doesn't work. This goes for all liquid soap dispensers in the isle. They look attractive but do not function well at all.

Does what it’s supposed to I guess - pump out soap but (big but) at what cost? Your granite counter getting a rust stain and your soaps integrity. It rusted within a few days of using it and left a rust stain on my white granite bathroom countertop. You’d think it would withstand being in a wet environment but no. Not only that but the inside of it also rusted so I’m not even sure if that still makes your soap good to use. Do not buy.

Not sure what the working life-span should be but I’ve had it just over a year and it has stopped pumping now. Through the year, the little nozzle would fall out from the rest of the pump and I’d have to fix it. Would not recommend.

Unlike many other reviewers, the soap does dispense from the unit I bought. But it drips soap and gets residue all over itself and the sink. You can do better. I wish I'd looked at reviews before picking this up in-store.
