Experience the world of Pokémon in a new way with the unique POKÉMON Z-RING and Z-CRYSTALS! Compatible with the latest video game titles in the POKÉMON series for Nintendo 3DS Family Systems: Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon, the Z-RING can interact and synchronize to enhance the game play experience with new Z-MOVES! In Nintendo 3DS/2DS Mode, Z-CRYSTALS are used in the Z-RING to react simultaneously to the devastating Z-MOVES in the video game with sounds, lights and vibrations! Each Z-CRYSTAL represents a different element type. When an Electric-type Z-CRYSTAL is inserted into the Z-RING, this exciting interactive feature enables players to feel the Electric-type Z-MOVE at the same time as it appears in the video game! Insert different type Z-CRYSTALS into the Z-RING to experience the colors, vibration and sound effects for each. The POKÉMON Z-RING can be used without the video game in Role-Play mode! Bring the battle play to life by pressing the button on the Z-RING to experience the different colors, lights and vibration with each Z-CRYSTAL! The Z-RING can hold up to six additional Z-CRYSTALS with the active Z-CRYSTAL in place. The POKÉMON Z-RING SET includes the Z-RING, 3 Z-CRYSTALS and a 2” Pikachu figure. Additional Z-CRYSTALS sold separately.
My son got this for a birthday gift. We ran out and got him all the crystals to go with it. One day it started making this awful noise that only stopped when I took the batteries out. Didn't work after that. I know I'll probably try to get him another one, but how do you explain to an excited kid you can fix something he loves. Ugh.
My kids both have Pokemon Sun and Moon, and when my son asked for this, I thought that the bracelet enhanced the game play by adding extra power to the actual game play. Thought that was pretty cool. But what it really does is it turns on when you use the Z Power with your Pokemon in battle, and it vibrates and makes sounds/music along with the game. It's really neat if your kid wants to be emerged in the game and feel the bracelet alongside the battle. The bracelet will NOT add extra power to the game or your moves, so be aware of that. My son doesn't care about that, but when I bought it for him at $30, plus 2 packages of crystals at $7 a box, I thought that it would work differently with the game. It's just for fun, so you don't need this, unless you want to feel the vibrations and hear the sounds, or role play.
Our son was so excited when he opened the package. He wore the ring set (which fit him like a watch) every day for three days. On the third day the thing completely malfunctioned. The sound that it makes when changing colors became a permanent sound that we could not turn off. Eventually after several hours underneath a pillow it stopped. We had to take it back to Target for a refund. Our baby, 7 years old, was so disappointed.
Very disappointed for paying quite a lot for a bracelet that broke within the first 24hs... bracelet mechanism somehow got stuck and kept vibrating and lights blinking uninterruptedly!! We had to remove battery...so now my son has a bracelet that doesn't work.
