I purchased this tv on Black Friday last year and boy was it a mistake . Everything was good up until about a year after . Starting around last week I attempted to play my Xbox so I turned it on first then turned my tv on . The screen was black with patchy green lines . I immediately thought my Xbox was broken but I noticed I could still here the sounds coming from the tv. So I tempted to switch HDMI ports and got the same thing. Then I switched TVs and noticed my game wasn’t the problem. I then attempted to streaming something with google cast but kept getting error messages from YouTube . I tried Netflix and Soundcloud but both were laggy and unresponsive. The next day I tried streaming on the tv and it worked fine. The following day the same problems from the start . Guess I’ll just take the L on this tv and go back to actual TELEVISION BRANDS .

I bought this tv last year after Black Friday. I have this in our spare bedroom and have it connected to OTA antenna and a Roku box. If I connect this to my cable service by the RG6 coax cable (not connected to convertor box) it tunes in the available channels, however I get no sound from these channels. I tried a different cable run and same results. Connected to my Roku box and the Over The Air (OTA) antenna I get sound and video fine. One weird thing; if I have the tv input on the HDMI for the Roku when I turn off the TV, the tv turns on somewhere around 4 or 5 AM in the morning. I have no idea why, but it does. If the input is Antenna/Cable then it does not do this. I forgot to change this one time when we left for a week vacation and I came home and the tv was on and the Roku home screen showing (had been on all week). I have noticed that as this has gotten older ( 1 year, so not that old) the OTA channels have come in weaker, pixelated and sometimes not come in at all. Due to that factor I have replaced the with a Vizio. The Vizio, connected to the same antenna in my attic the channels come in better and more vivid. Also, no more tv turning on by itself when the Roku is the input when turned off. This Polaroid has been delegated to the basement to sit in front of the exercise equipment and be the gaming tv for my grandkids when they come to visit. Overall, it works, but not that great. I would say you get what you pay for, however there are a lot of good tv's in the same price range as this tv. I won't ever buy a Polaroid TV again.

This is by far the worst purchase I have made to date. This TV is clearly manufactured horribly. After a month of receiving this TV green lines appeared all over the screen, the tv would flicker on/off, chromecast never worked ( thank god I had an Apple TV) and the tv would turn on at random times in the middle of the night. I decided to return the Tv to attempt to get one that works. I spoke with Polaroid customer service ( who has the worst customer service in the entire planet) multiple times and they OUTRIGHT REFUSED to pay for the shipping of my television back to the manufacturer and were beyond rude the entire time. Then after two months without and TV I finally receive a new TV back and what do you know THE SAME PROBLEMS HAPPEN AGAIN. NOW POLAROID IS REFUSING TO reimburse me for the shipping charges I incurred to receive a second defective tV. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!!

If I could give this less stars I would! I just bought this tv on Black friday and about a month ago these horizontal lines started showing up. It would go off and on but then got progressively worse. Now it turns different colors on the screen from green to red to white. I called warranty on it because it has only been about 7 months. Brand new tv and after 7 months it is already broken. They said to send it back but I have to pay for shipping. Well shipping a big tv is not cheap! It will cost just as much if not more to send it back!!!! Worst experience ever with a tv!! Save yourself the money and buy a better brand!

I'd give this TV zero stars if I could. Started turning it self on random times in the middle of the night. Took the batteries out of the remote, still turns on. 2 months in started turning off at random also. Luckily, Target made things right so 5 stars to Target. Also, will not work with Direct TV remote...so that sucked also

Having purchased tv's at more than three times the price, I didn't really have high expectations for this tv. Basically just wanted something that was an adequate size for a bedroom and wasn't too concerned if it was "top quality", like my living room television. But, yeah, picture, sound, everything exceeded my expectations. Good tv at a great price
