Modern style meets comfortable design in the Barrel Chair from Project 62™. The upholstered chair has a barrel backrest that curves into armrests, a wide foam cushioned seat, back and sides, and cylindrical tapered legs. This is a unique mid-century modern chair that will update any room.1962 was a big year. Modernist design hit its peak and moved into homes across the country. And in Minnesota, Target was born - with the revolutionary idea to celebrate design for all. Project 62 embodies this legacy with a collection of modern pieces made for everyday living.
I am using these for my dining room chairs. I originally bought two about a year ago and wanted two more to match. I was delighted to see them still in stock. The legs were hidden under fabric under the chair (when I opened the box I thought the legs were missing) The legs were a little bit of a pain to get on, but the whole chair is very sturdy and match perfectly. Very comfy and a great price. They look great and are nice for smaller spaces.
Cute chair. Looks like the picture. Not really functional though. Wouldn't keep if it was going to be used very often. It feels like fabric over cardboard when you sit in it. Not comfortable. Easy to assemble.
Very easy to put together. There are no instructions in the box so look under the chair (there is a velcro flap on the bottom) where the legs are hidden. Great value for the price. Definitely recommend to others. The grey comes as pictured.
This chair was perfect for the cost and the purpose I bought it for. I would not recommend this chair for everyday regular use, as is not quite that durable. I bought it as an occasional chair for my mother in law's bedroom when she moved to assisted living. It gives her visitors something to sit in when visiting her, as she sits in her wheelchair. Super easy to assemble, legs are packed on the underside of the chair to take out and screw into place. Like the color too.
