For convenient outdoor showing, the Poolside Portable Shower features non-corrosive PVC construction that is weather-resistant. The detachable showerhead is connected to a flexible hose with on/off valve included. Fill base with sand for stability. Easy to assemble with a quick-connect adapter for use with any standard garden hose.
I shopped around online for this poolside shower and found it priced exactly the same at $80 wherever I went. I decided on a local Target because it would be easier to obtain a replacement or refund than having to ship it back to other outlets. It arrived quickly however the thread pipe end inside had poked its way through the box (see pic). There didn't appear to be any damage though. It's simple to assemble in just minutes. I was surprised there were extra washers/screws included if needed. After assembly I filled the base with sandbox sand (more dense/heavier than water), attached the garden hose, and turned it on. It didn't leak where I suspected it might (hose connections) but at a solvent joint attached at factory. It's currently only a drip but may be an issue later. The shower is a bit unstable in grass so we placed it at the edge of our paver patio and it overhangs into our lawn (no wasted water). We give our grandkids some spray soap after swimming and they have fun and get a shower as well.
The base is water-filled and works OK, but it would be better if it were larger and so heavier. It would also be better if it could accommodate two hoses--hot and cold. But as it is, it's really quite OK and reasonably well-made.
For the price is just fine. After you set it up, you really don't need to do anything more than turn it on...I use it for the patio were we have a pool, I also use it to give my toddler a shower after pool.
