Q: One reply was the pitcher is used for cold liquids, not hot. In another poster's reply the answer was this pitcher is microwave safe, which implies it CAN be used for hot liquids. Which is right?

Q: I wanted to paint on the pitcher using ceramic paint. In order to set the paint it needs to be put in the oven. Could I put it in the oven on 350 for 2 hours to set the paint?

I had been searching for a tall, large water pitcher for use when having friends and family to dinner--rather than having to repeatedly fill up a smaller size pitcher--and when I spotted this one, I knew it would be perfect. Just beautiful! I love this white pitcher, it's a bit heavy when full of beverage but easily managable with two hands. It is quite large for everyday but well accomodates enough iced tea for a family of 6 or more!

The first pitcher I ordered arrived broken but Target made getting a replacement very easy! I'm so happy with the pitcher. It's exactly what I was looking for. I use it to hold faux florals so I can't comment on how well it works for beverage use. Though it seems it would work well if that's what you want to use it for. It's a good solid piece at a great price.
