I have used Iodine all my life. My mom used it on us when we were kids and got cut. As an adult I used for my daughter's cuts too. I still use it for myself. I must say that this stuff is magic.     Take it from a wound care nurse certified since 1997. Don't believe movies books and television that tell you that this stuff stings or is painful in an open wound. It is not. Sometimes I think authors get it mixed up with tincture of iodine or Mercurochrome which are alcohol based. Great for fi...  see moreof Julie's review
