A:Â The PowerXL Vortex Pro air fryer allows the user to move the drip tray to 2 positions in the basket. If the drip tray is in the higher position, any liquids from the top food would fall onto the food in the lower section of the basket.

A:Â Whether food needs to be shaken depends on what is being cooked and quantity being cooked. if food is stacked on itself, shaking would be advised to allow for even cooking of all food. For a few pieces of food, shaking may not be needed.

Really had high hopes for this product. It was purchased less than 3 months ago and used several times a week. It was a great alternative to an oven. quick cooking. Used it yesterday to make chicken for my grandsons and it stopped after 6 minutes - completely died. Now that I see the reviews of the same thing happening to others, they really should pull this product off the shelves.

Obnoxiously loud don't buy this. Every single time you change each minute it beeps, every single time you change the temperature it beeps. If you want to use this in the middle of the night it will wake up the whole family. And there is no instructions to turn off sounds. Also theres literally like 50 buttons on this thing which is so unnecessary. Will be returning this. Works fine, temperature setting goes up to 420 which was good but I just cant deal with the sound!!

I waited to write a review until after 6 weeks of use had passed to make sure it works consistently - so far it has no problem with any food I've thrown at it! Really happy with its size, just right for two people, doesn't take up too much counter space, and it looks slick. Just be aware it beeps loudly and frequently; it will remind you to toss up the contents at the halfway mark whether you want to or not. I wish it had a see-through door like other models; you need to pull the whole drawer out to check, which loses heat, and it has a rack instead of an interior basket which as a result it can be clumsy getting your food out of it when it's done. Make sure you set the drawer on a heat resistant surface and use tongs to remove food. Overall I'm really happy with this purchase.

It’s small and compact, not very loud. Perfect for 1 or two people, more than that and you’re cooking in batches. It cooks fried food to perfection, restaurant grade. But a breast of chicken it seems to struggle with. In fact, the instructions seem to indicate that this model isn’t intended for cooking raw chicken breast.
