Prequel Gleanser + Glycolic Acid Non-Drying Cleanser - 13.5 fl oz

I’ve been using this for a few months now and it’s probably at the bottom of cleansers I’ve tried. This does not remove water resistant sunscreen or makeup well at all. I have to wash twice when I use it; once with this and once with something else. If I have nothing on my face it’s fine. But I always wear sunscreen so this does not work for me at all. I’m only using it because I paid for it.

Finally found a cleanser that keeps my skin clear!

I’m still getting used to this cleanser and whether it cleans as well as Cera Ve does. It is gentle on the skin and doesn’t take much to wash my face which I appreciate it.

This cleanser is everything I hoped it would be AND the fact that my skin has NOT reacted to any of the Prequel products says EVERYTHING! My skin has always been extremely reactive to literally anything I would use on my face. To the point where I was unable to use anything on it including skincare and makeup. So, I'm incredibly thankful for this company and it's high quality products made with special care for sensitive and reactive skin like mine!

I think I’m in the “not common” category with this cleanser. First off, it doesn’t foam like it’s supposed to. I don’t have issues with packaging so far. For reference I have combo/type one rosacea. I think this cleanser is also breaking me out. I don’t like the ingredient “cocomidopropyl betaine”. It can be a harsh surfactant for some users. Also, where’s the glow? The bottle is also huge and clunky. It takes up a lot of room in my shower which I don’t like either. I feel this dries out my skin a bit and I’m only using it 2X a week. I’ll probably use this as a shaving cream but this is definitely not a repurchase. I had a disappointing product from them before this too. This is an inferior product from what I expected. I think this line is overrated.

I can’t believe I actually love a cleanser this much. And yes, it really is great for both face and body. Something else I was skeptical of. I definitely recommend this!

Generally speaking, I like this cleanser. I haven’t been able to tolerate glycolic acid, so to be able to use it in this cleanser is quite nice. However, the packaging leaves much to be desired. I didn’t have a huge problem with it at first. It took more force to press the pump down to dispense the product. But then I used enough that I lit was slightly more than halfway full and nothing was getting through that pump. What’s left is an extremely thick consistency that takes some effort to spread. I can deal with that consistency ok enough if it was easier to get out of the bottle. As it currently stands, I have to stand the bottle upside down inside a caddy propped up by other products. Then when it’s time for my shower, I turn it on its side in the shower. Then I have to unscrew the pump, scrape off the straw of the pump to waste less product, and turn the bottle upside down with my finger stuck into the bottle to scoop out what I can. This process is very very tedious. I’ll probably try purchasing again in case this was a weird batch. But if this happens to another bottle, I either need to decant into a different container or abandon the product. It’s an unfortunate user experience as I have really liked prequel products so far.

This cleanser has a lovely lather that is effective and gentle. My skin is left clean and I've noticed, in the short time that I've used it, that my skin's texture seems more even. Looking forward to the results after more time has passed!

I liked it but not enough to love it. I do have combinarion skin. Sometimes more dryer than greasier. I enjoy a cleanser that does not strip away all the oils, but just enough to feel clean. This cleanser doesn’t make my face feel clean enough. I like the ingredients but wouldn’t buy it again.

Such great cleanser and value! I use it as a second cleanse after a makeup remover. It feels gentle yet effective. Doesn’t cause discomfort from being overly drying, and my combo skin hasn’t gotten any congestion since I’ve been using it for a few months.

No product that I’ve tried has been as gentle as this one! My skin is clean afterward with no oils or makeup left on the towel and after 6 weeks of use with H&H I’m seeing smoother moisturized texture.

This Prequel cleanser comes in a pretty large hefty bottle. It lathers well and is non-drying as it says. But I feel like it takes longer to wash off at the same time which is a bit of a chore for me personally. Depending on your needs it feels a bit too much but I guess if your skin is very dry then it’s a good thing. complimentary from prequelskin

Two weeks in and I’m genuinely surprised by this one. My skin looks brighter and feels smoother without that tight, stripped feeling I usually get from acid cleansers. The lather is creamy, it rinses clean, and somehow it’s not irritating at all. Nothing dramatic, just consistently better looking skin. Solid repurchase for me. gifted by prequelskin

Not my Fav. The cleanser is a bit thin for my taste. I dropped the bottle once in the shower and the bottle cracked - cheap packaging.

I love this body wash! It is very gentle and makes my skin feel smooth. I did not have any issues with the product irritating my skin.
