Total waste of money! First of all sharing these small clues with 4 people is ridiculous. It’s too small for a group of people to work on the clues together. Most 2 to work on these. The clues are not clear at all. The art is really far fetched. We’ve played other escape games and this one is poorly made/cheaply made. It’s too bad since we bought it because my husband and I love MacGyver the show and wanted to share the fun of it with our kids. Instead this just became frustrating instead of fun. We tried 2 out 5 games. Wouldn’t recommend.

I've taken home a variety of home "escape" games and this is by far the worst. The puzzles are highly derivative and a lot of the design/packaging is superfluous graphics that are meant to add, I don't know, flavor? It interacts with a website that looks like it was built in 1997, and it's REQUIRED for the game, not optional. Then it's random as to whether they give you cheats or solutions if you're stuck on the website - sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. We got stuck on the last puzzle of game 4/5 and there was no solution offered on the website, so we gave up on it. (It really didn't make sense.) Then, we opened puzzle 5, and it was missing two of the game envelopes required to play. A total waste of money.

I have only played scenario one so far but have had a lot of fun. I played as a family and we all worked at a team. We can't wait to play again. I have tried a couple of other escape room at home games and this has been the best so far. It was simple enough to understand and the clues were understandable enough that it made sense going from point a to b.
