Q: This says it is dishwasher safe. Really? And fully immersible?

A: The 07072 Presto® Slimline® electric griddle is immersable with the cord removed. However, we recommend not placing it in the dishwasher. Q: is this PTFE and PFOA free?

A: The Presto® Slimline™ electric griddle is PFOA free. PTFE is what makes the non-stick surface have non-stick properties. This griddle does contain PFTE. Family of 6 and our old griddle was so old and started losing its finish so needed replaced. We love how slim this griddle is. My husband loves to make home made buttermilk pancakes on the weekends and this griddle is large enough to whip up a quick batch for all 4 kids and quickly get through a double batch of batter. I also love to use it to cook fried rice. Highly recommend.

I only got this because I love Pancakes! And I like making a lot of them at once. And I like making large flapjacks. I can get about 4 at a time on here. And that works out great! And based on how many I make I store the rest in the fridge for another day.

I purchased this for my husband for Christmas, but I'm the one using it everyday. Cleans great, handles great; difficult to store at the moment. Our last few griddles were smaller, but they were both Prestos and lasted for more than five years each. Definitely worth the money!

Nice slim griddle just what I was looking for. I didnt want anything too bulky and works just fine. My only wish is that there was some mini dip or ditch where the grease catcher hole is to guide the runoff like other griddles. This one is just flat with raised sides and a grease drainer. Otherwise, I love it!
