A: I don't think it is. It's linen-esque. The fabric is a nice thickness and the cut is generous.

I love this dress, but hate the fit. Fabric is great, like a nice cotton sheet. I love the geometric design and the colors are so cheerful. I wanted this to be something to wear everywhere. But I will be returning it because the shoulders and arms do not allow for movement. The dress fits with shoulder seams that go past the regular shoulder point. Understanding that this is probably for gender neutral wear. I found the armpits vey low when my arms were by my side. If i wanted to raise up my arms, i had to tuck in that arm pit area which causes the fabric above the shoulder to bunch. And since there are no darts or pleats in the chest area the secound level of the dress gets stuck on my breast area. IMO is this had no sleeves to would be easier to wear. Pockets would also give a better casual feel.

This dress has gotten me so many compliments but I'm not the biggest fan of this dress, the material is very thin and low quality and the fit on the top is a bit snug and odd. The pictures make it look like a babydoll style but it's more structured than that and the way the elastic sits make the skirt part go outwards a bit and makes me look pregnat with huge hips. I'll be hemming it and taking the elastic out to make it more like what it's supposed to look like. The design is supposed to be for pride and I guess it's good if you're tring to be discreet but it's mostly giving Mrs.Frizzle as a art teacher in little house on the prarie vibes. It is overall pretty comfy though. Not bad just not great.

Seriously, no pockets? Come on! I totally love the print and the fabric is a nice, lightweight summer cotton. I ordered a size larger than usual just so I knew it would be airy and oversized and would also allow for shrinkage. So glad I bought it. Worth every penny. But Target, GET SOME POCKETS ON THESE DRESSES! Women need pockets! If you know how I can get some of this fabric to make some patch pockets, let me know. Other than the lack of pockets, this dress is a 10/10!

This dress is shaped so weirdly! I don't know who or what body type it's made to look good on, but it's definitely not me. Even though I'm short (5'1") and curvy (44 inch chest) it's still a huge billowing circus tent on me. I really wanted to love this dress, and even tried it with sashes and belts (an improvement), but I look like a Dr. Seuss character in it. I usually need a L or XL for my chest, but even the M was huge. The cut of the skirt is weird in the back too, with a rounded longer hem looking strange on the straight checkerboard. The enormous waist is HIGH even on me who loves Empire waists. Overall it's just OK if I made adjustments. If it had been knit and had pockets, I might have been more likely to keep it even with the weirdness, but I know it will more likely lie wrinkled in a pile of forgotten clean laundry waiting for me to iron it, so I'm returning it.

Pros: This dress is super cute and comfortable. Very light fabric, super bright colors, will be great during the hotter months. Cons: I am 6' tall and this dress bunches weirdly when I walk, so I'm always trying to adjust it while I'm walking. Maybe I need an actual skirt slip and not slip shorts for it? No pockets. I also feel like every pride dress we get from Target has an empire waist and it's not flattering! Drop the waist slightly so I can at least wear a belt. Other: I am about a size 16/18 depending on brand but I feel like Target brand clothing runs large generally, so while I would normally wear an XL or even an XXL I bought this in a Large and it's perfect. Size down for sure unless you want to be swimming in this dress.

Love this dress! I am usually a M but saw it was 100% cotton so I sized up to a L. So glad I did! After a wash and dry it did shrink a bit and now fits great. Hits me right above the knee. I am 5’6” and didn’t want it to be crazy short. The back is a bit longer which is nice, isn’t too noticeable. I agree with others that pockets would be nice but I love it now too!
