Aquaphor Healing Ointment is uniquely formulated to restore smooth, healthy skin. Different from a lotion or cream, this healing ointment is uniquely formulated to protect skin. It creates a protective barrier on the skin that allows flow of excess fluid and oxygen. The barrier also keeps in skin's own moisture to create an ideal healing environment. This multi-purpose ointment protects and soothes extremely dry skin, chapped lips, cracked hands and feet, minor cuts and burns, and many other skin irritations, so you can get on with your day comfortably. Aquaphor Ointment is a white translucent to light yellow ointment. Color variations occur due to the nature of the ingredients in the product. Each of the ingredients in Aquaphor are tested and approved for their quality and safety. Color differences do not affect product safety and performance.

    Beware if allergic to lanolin

    I bought this needing something thicker for my lips during the winter not realizing I had a lanolin allergy. After I started using this my my lips started to crack, I got a rash above my upper lip, and my nose started to running like a had a cold. Thought I was sick until I looked into the ingredients and realized I’m probably allergic to the lanolin. Won’t affect most people but don’t use it allergic.
