Needed a vertical wall sconce for lighting a stairway, looked through hundreds of fixtures to find this one, Very sturdy(heavy) fixture, but so attractive on the wall, and the light cast is perfect for the space.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't think I would be able to find sconces in this size and shape that also provided a lot of light--these do. I love the way they look and how flexible they are regarding bulbs. I have them flanking a mirror in my bedroom and used LEDs with a dimmer.

We bought 3 of these lights - one of these lights was horizontally placed over the toilet & the other 2 were placed horizontally on our back staircase. The metal looks like real wood!! We are thrilled with these lights. They look great!! We would highly recommend these lights!! Love them!!

We recently had this installed so haven't actually used the bathroom. But love how the fixture looks and like I said the fact that you can use 2 100 watt bulbs.

Minka does not stand by there products even if the product smells burnt.

We bought four of these and like the look of them, but the finish is easily scratched. The fixtures come with warnings about being careful not to scratch the glass, but you also must be careful with the metal finish. My installer seemed more careful than most, but the metal on the top edge where you slide the glass shade in got scuffed on all four fixtures. Maybe a strip of gentle blue tape placed across the top front would have prevented this? For other installers, I'd suggest trying that, but test removing the tape on a hidden area just in case.
