This lamp is really beautiful. It is very well made, and the marble effect is smooth. And very eye catching. I loved the style of it, because it reminded of the beautiful lamps of days long ago. The shade is a very important part of the lamp, and the color of the shade was described as white...it is not white but a tan color. That is the only thing I was disappointed in. The two switches are great and provide a lot of choices for how much light you want.
