This is a great little unit for a small area like a bedroom. My bedroom is 12x12 and this unit handles the hot nights like a champ. I do have a 12,000 SACC unit cooling the rest of the apartment which helps this unit keep up when its extremely hot. During moderately hot nights I only run this small unit. Quality is good and install was easy. Two fans speeds cover all situations and the movable louvers work well. Fan on high obviously makes a sound however its not too bad and a fair trade off for a great cool nights sleep.

Using this unit a supplement for an hvac ac system struggling to reach a guest bedroom. Works great, good quality, strong breeze of cold air, would recommend. Product does exactly what’s it’s designed to do. Excellent company.

I like the size. Former one I had, was a DPAC8020 Missing on the new one: swing feature. There is no drain hose included.

The portable ac was a great choose. It cools the room and isn’t too loud. But with in 1 week the ac is turning on and off itself? Maybe it’s a setting I’m not sure. But I hope it doesn’t break down.

It's a great unit and I got a really good deal on it because I bought it in February instead of in the peak month of summer when you needed the most and I live in a basement so I need a portable air conditioner I can't just put one in the window this was perfect now let's see how good their warranty is

This is very nice to have on these hot days, when a person doesn't have central air conditioning. It's much more economical than central air conditioning. It is also easier to move around between rooms than a window mount unit.

It's great for a smaller space. Because there are 2 window inserts, it would be nice to have the vent whole cut out of both of them, then it would be much easier to prepare 2 windows for it to be moved back and forth with it. Making it easier for its use of portability.

Unit seems to be working well so far. I noticed there were many reviews that were not very good and a/c did not last very long or malfunctioned. One issue I had was there was no drain hose included with the unit and according to the manual there should have been. The warranty is longer than most so hopefully we are covered for 2 years.

I will only buy Danby if I can find them. I have Danby Stove, Danby Refridgerator, Danby Freezer, and now a Danby Air conditioner and it is working great. Cooled room down from 32F to 68F in a very short time

Ft error every hour

Pointless machine if you're not using the continuous drain function. It's so inefficient that the "fill tray" at the bottom of the unit fills up within an hour and holds like max a quarter cup of water. And when the "Full Tray" error comes on the fan won't continue to work either like the manual claims it will so I have to get up multiple times a night to empty it. Waste of money and for someone who doesn't have a lot of money to begin with its extremely dissapointing and frustrating.
