Shattered
This shattered when I took it out of the oven I have the same one but half the size and I've had that one for years with no problem. This was the first time I used it. I will not be buying any more Pyrex items moving forward.

Poor pyrex products
Don’t get this! I bought it and used it like normal and it shattered in my oven with a lasagna in it. There was no thermal shock as I know better than to put a cold dish into a hot oven. This is now the second Pyrex item that has shattered in my oven… I have many other glass items from anchor hocking as well as ceramics from caraway and our place and have never broken or shattered any of the others.

Blew up into a million pieces in the oven.
It blew up in the oven while baking brownies and now I need to purchase a new oven because of all the glass dust and millions of glass particles left behind in the oven. Horrible.

Its deep enough for lasagne!
This dish is a fantastic depth for lasagne or other things that are hard to fit in the standard 3qt depth. But, quality control is lacking. Lots of tiny flaws in the glass surface which theoretically can impact how well it can handle heat. Pyrex website assures that they are safe and I have never had a problem with old PYREX or newer pyrex. But this definitely has more flaws than any pyrex I have acquired previously (at least 5 years ago). I have only used it once so far. Didn’t explode and it was easy to clean

Dish blew up in 375 degree oven
The size and lids were great. The dish blew up in my oven after 45 min at 375 degrees. I had just removed baking chicken from the other oven rack or that meal would have also been a loss. My oven is destroyed and the glass and casserole are everywhere.
