A: Hi Dolly, you can absolutely prepare this product in the microwave! Here are our recommended prep instructions: - Empty packet into microwave-safe bowl. - Add up to 2/3 cup unheated milk or water, stir (for your convenience, you can use the packet as a measuring cup) - Microwave on HIGH 1 to 2 minutes; stir again. - Please adjust water or milk for desired consistency. *If you like to make two packets at once: add up to 1 cup unheated milk or water, stir. I used to love this oatmeal so much!! When I came back to it years later, it not longer has a flavor of maple or brown sugar. It just tastes like sugar . So very disappointing

I lost 15 pounds so far with the help of this oatmeal. Taste great, quick and easy. My only complaint is with the branding. I use a virtual shopper and too often they have substituted the “protein” version instead of “fiber and protein.” But the protein only version is loaded with sugar. I think it should be more prominent that this is a sugar free product, which is why I love it.

i don’t know what they did to this oatmeal, but it used to be SO good. the maple and brown sugar flavor was perfect and the oats cooked good in the microwave. now it’s watery, the oats don’t cook right in the microwave, and the overall taste has declined dramatically. bring back the old school recipe, please.

I go though cycles with my breakfast. About every 3 months or so I change up what I eat. Well I still had some of the old maple brown sugar oatmeal and it as always was great. Got a new box and was like what is this. It was horrible so thinking there is no way they changed the recipe got a new box from a different store. Guess what just as horrible. I have no idea what you all did but change it back and when you do having marketing know and let us know. Until then I am done going to look for another product.

I like Quaker Oats instant oatmeal maple and brown sugar. It’s very easy to prepare. Yes, the name says maple and brown sugar, but I find the packet too sweet. I usually discard a few of the brown sugar chunks before adding water. Overall, it does have a good maple and brown sugar flavor.

I’m currently sick and the only thing that sounds remotely appetizing is oatmeal. Accidentally bought the protein version of this oatmeal and it tastes disgusting. From the moment it’s out the packet it smells chemically and sickeningly sweet. Each bite is worst than the last. It tastes of chemicals and fake sugar. It’s also somehow salty. Just truly awful tasting through and through!

I used to eat instant oatmeal all the time, but I just can't bring myself to buy it since the recipe changes. I bought a new box recently in hopes it has changed back or was a "bad batch" no such luck. Very disappointed and glad to see I am not the only one.
