Get better packers, or you will be replacing items
Ordered this & other items in Sept. The original item was crushed and the contents were all over my front step and all over the box it was in. The same item came today in a box way too big for item, with no packing to protect it. So what do you think happened to item? Please do NOT send me a replacement. I will purchase in store only!!

Still good, but pay attention to the label
Tastes the same as when we were young, except now we no longer sweeten it...just add fruit & cinnamon. If they have made changes to their formula, so be it. As long as that change is not a detriment to our health or the environment. For those complaining about their 1st world problem; You should note that the label will show either "whole grain ROLLED oats" or just "whole grain oats". That makes a difference in the cooking results.t matter.

My husband hates the changes to old fashion oats
I would leave minus stars if I could. My husband says the change is so dramatic he wondered if our microwave was broken. The oats are watery and will nit absorb moisture regardless of the cooking time. Texture and taste are both different than in years past. We have been eating the old fashioned oats for years so we can definitely tell they are different. After reading these reviews he knows it isn't the microwave, or him. He says he will not buy these again.

No more...
After making oatmeal for 50 year using Quaker Old Fashioned Oats, I must find a replacement product. The changes Quaker has made to this product make the product worthless. I'll watch for Quaker to make an announcement acknowledging this mistake and announcing a return to original processing - then maybe I'll come back.

No better way
Quaker oats have been on my family's table for decades, both regular and instant. No better way to start the day.

Something has changed.
Been eating every morning for the past 4 years and something changed. They are either thicker and or steamed less than before because my cooking method has not changed. They are chewy and do not absorb the water used in cooking and I have not changed the cooking method. Tried using less water and longer cooking time to no avail. Will have to look for a different brand.

Good, but microwave instructions are out of date
I like to have this topped with fruit. It's like having dessert for breakfast. I do wish you would modify your microwave cooking instructions. When using today's modern microwaves cooking on High for 3 minutes causes a boil over and a mess. Can you give instructions for microwaving with today's higher wattage microwaves which cook much faster.

Change in product. Won't cook. Avoid
What have you done to the oats!!!. I have been using these for many years, now they wont cook! Did you change them? Why did you remove "rolled" from the name???. Unusable now. Tried two different packages now. See others review

I like this recipe, but I do make modifications. Substitute butter for oil (I frequently melt it in the microwave). I add an extra egg to make softer cookies. Then I increase the oatmeal by 3/4 cup (4 3/4 total).

Great product, Inefficient cover
Great oat minus the packaging. This is the second time the whole content dropped out of my hands and spills. I can’t afford to lose it every time. Please fix the lid

Insects found in the packet
I bought the oats packet from a local shop nearby to my home. I opened the packet and cooked the oats. And found insects wandering in my oats. Then I check the packet and in the packet insects were wondering there too. The packet was not expired I checked it. Please improve quality of ur product

Shrink-flation!!!!!! Wow!! Tiny tiny granola bars?
To be honest this review has nothing to do with the quality or taste I still enjoy the oatmeal and the granola bars BUT I just bought a 30 pack or something of the granola bars with chocolate chips and they're so tiny it's ridiculous. Corporations have profit margin has been bigger than it's ever been in history they shouldn't be able to rip us off!!!

Oatmeal is not the same
I really like oatmeal, but it is different than it used to be. I use Quaker old fashioned oats and what used to cook in the microwave for under 5 minutes and it turned out creamy, takes up to 10 minutes and is still crunchy. Why is that?

Disappointed
I’m 83 yrs old. Been eating Old Fashioned Quaker Oats all my life. For awhile I’ve been noticing this gooey substance as I’m cooking. Are you adding starch or something, it looks vet off putting. I’m eating a bowl as I’m writing this review, seems as all good things end at some time
