We loved these sheets while they lasted, less than two years for a $180 set of sheets that were on our bed less than half the time is unacceptable. They developed a huge hole and are now unusable. While we had them they were soft and nice. Not as great as the parachute homes ones we have, but a nice backup. Won't be spending that kind of money on these again. They should have lasted much longer

I really wanted to love these. I am ashamed to admit but, I thought that the other people who got holes didn’t take care of these properly. I washed correctly and even alternated with another set of sheets. Less than 15 months later there are holes in the fitted sheet. These also do produce a lot of lint.

I loved this set when I firt got it, but over time am very unhappy. They wrinkle SO BAD. and after only one year of use there are now 3 BIG holes in the fitted sheet. They create a ton of lint and get thinner and thinner with each wash. Really disapointing for $180.

I've washed and dried 3 times now before using ! there is SO MUCH LINT coming off on the dryer screen to make another pillow case !!! Hope another couple wash and dry efforts will permit me to actually use on bed ? I will do the star review again in future ... have no idea how they will fit or wear yet ?

This is the second set of Casaluna linen sheets I've purchased, and probably won't be the last. They are somehow warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The magic of linen! And they get softer with every wash. You won't regret buying these!

We slept on these for the first time last night and they were sooooo comfy. My husband even raved about them! I washed them first, and they came-out great. I read the other reviews about them not lasting, and honestly, I think that’s just the nature of linen sheets. I purchased a “high end” brand and paid well over $400 for the set. They ripped where my husband’s feet hit and wore through after a year or so. But the worst part, they left lint ALL OVER our bedroom, daily! I decided to give these a try to see if the “lesser quality” linen will shed less. (Fingers crossed!) I love the look and the feel and have accepted they probably won’t last more than a year, but if I want linen sheets, I think that’s the norm.

Not even a year of use and there's already a hole. They are wearing so thin so quickly. For the price they should have lasted YEARS. Not to mention they pilled like crazy. Do not waste your money. Do better purchasing if you're going to se the price this high, Target...incredibly disappointed

I have more "upscale" linen sheets from a brand that starts with a "P" and ends with a "chute". These are not as soft out of the package but I found them comfortable to use without washing first. They did produce a lot of lint on the first wash BUT unlike the "P" brand these came out of the dryer pleasantly rumpled; not tangled into an impossibly wrinkled mess. As far as durability goes, I'll revise this if I get any big surprises but for the price I am totally ok with these lasting a year. Think about it. If you wore the same shirt every day for a year what would you expect it to look like at the end? Even if you alternated two shirts daily would you expect them to be looking brand new? Would you expect to wear the same two shirts (no matter how much you paid for them) on alternating days and expect them to last decades? Not sure why we expect this of sheets. These seem like fine quality at a great price and I'm gonna buy some more of them.

I was so excited about these sheets and really enjoyed the feel and look of them. Linen is pretty pricey but I was hoping to have them last a long time. Unfortunately, like many of these other reviews, I have just now noticed a couple obvious rips. ): I use liquid detergent and wash about once a week. I did put them in the dryer which sounds like where I may have reduced the longevity of their use. Pretty bummed because now I’ve gotta buy new sheets and will be replacing with ones I can safely put in the dryer. Don’t recommend if you plan to not hang them to dry.

I bought two sets of these sheets right around the same time. Like many other reviewers, one set got small holes and ripped after the one year mark. The other set is still in use, but getting threadbare. They are very comfortable and love the feel. So, kind of 50/50 on them.

These are great sheets, especially for the price. It’s important to care for linen sheets properly if you want them to last. Liquid detergent, no softener, and line drying. We’ve used these solely for a year now, typically washing twice a week and they still look and feel great. On the rare occasion we need to put them in the dryer we use low heat. I’m definitely buying another set!

I, like many other people on here, had the same issue with holes - out of nowhere! Had the sheets for 1 year and I loved them, until they developed a hole which in a matter on 2 nights, turned into a massive rip. Will not be repurchasing sadly. Such a bummer, they were so soft after a few washed.
