quip is proud to partner with Global Dental Relief and donate $1 for every All-Black sold to help provide life-changing dental care to children in need. The quip All-Black metal electric toothbrush gives you all the features teeth need (and removes the gimmicks they don’t) to make better brushing simple and affordable. It’s one of the first electric toothbrushes accepted by the American Dental Association, and is proven to help remove plaque, and help prevent and reduce gingivitis. The lightweight, compact design features sensitive sonic vibrations and a built-in timer with 30-second pulses that guide an effective 2-minute routine. quip includes a convenient travel cover (that doubles as a stand and mirror mount) and a slim aluminum handle that’s waterproof and shower-safe. The soft-bristle brush head is powered by a single AAA battery that lasts 3 months (no wires, no clunky charger). Every 3 months, quip automatically delivers a fresh brush head and battery to you for $5, with free shipping, if you subscribe to refill plan.

ABOUT QUIP

From $5, you can buy brush head and toothpaste refills, or subscribe for an automatic refresh with free shipping and a lifetime warranty.

It has a very sleek look but my brush has broke 3 times and the heads get frayed fast so it needs a new brush head often. Also I think Sonicare toothbrushes do a much better job of cleaning.

Best Minimalist toothbrush.

I love this toothbrush. I had receding gums from the Sonicare I was using and my dentist recommended moving to a softer brush head with less vibration. I switched to quip and have had much healthier gums since. The soft bristles clean my teeth without hurting my gum line and is very comfortable in my hand. It did take some getting used to - changing back to a manual, circular brushing motion from the previous toothbrush I was using, but once you get used to that, it is the best minimalist, no frills brush you'll ever own. I love that you can stick the holder on any mirror and also use it as a cover - now my toiletry bag is less bulky as I don't need to bring the Sonicare case and charging wires for long trips.

Love it!

I've been using Quip for a few nights, and I absolutely love it! My teeth are so smooth, it feels like I just got back from a cleaning at the dentist. The brush head is the perfect size. The two-minute timer is great: it pauses vibrating every 30 seconds to tell you when to move to another section of your mouth. It looks great on the bathroom counter. Bonus: the packaging is recyclable.

Just ok. I like the timer function, toothbrush doesn’t vibrate like a traditional electric toothbrush, so you’ll still have to brush like a manual brush. Looks nice, travels well. Not worth $50 at all.

This toothbrush is not strong enough to actually vibrate and clean teeth well. The vibration is high in the handle however not in the actually toothbrush head. I do not recommend purchasing.

I have had mine for over a year and my dentist said my teeth and gums look better than ever. I love the sleek design and the vibration reminders when to switch to a new row of teeth. It's perfect for traveling and takes up no space on my bathroom vanity unlike the expensive recharging ones my family members had before we started switching over. Since they automatically send a new head and battery every 3 months for $5 there is no guessing on when to replace them which I love. Much better than the cheap battery ones and less bulky and space consuming than the Sonic types. Win win!

What a waste of money. I agree with a lot of the other people here in wondering why this has so many positive reviews. The vibration doesn't make that much of a difference compared to my Sonicare. I found myself manually brushing my teeth using it... might as well use a manual toothbrush (which I get free from my dentist each time I go in for a cleaning). Having to buy a $5 subscription is ridiculous when you think you can a 3-set of manual toothbrushes that essentially do the same work as this "electric" toothbrush. The silicone outer bristles feel like they do nothing and the inner bristles feel like they most of the cleaning. I will be going back to my Sonicare (and even my manual) toothbrush, which both feel like they cleaned my teeth better.

I’ve been eyeing the quip toothbrushes for awhile & finally gave in after all the hype and pretty appearance of the brush. My husband and I were very disappointed after the first use. The vibration is all in the handle and the brush hardly vibrates, you have to brush like a you would with a regular toothbrush to get any cleaning done on your teeth. We loved the simple and clean design and refill options, but i would have rather saved my money. We will be going back to using our Phillips Sonicare electric toothbrush.
