Bought this for my daughter for Christmas from Target. Was so disappointed when we were moving her yesterday. This cookware is junk, and there is no other word for it! The entire outside of the pots have turned white and orange, lost the shine and are now a matte finish (they were the high gloss red set) and the insides have lost the coating. For the price of the cookware I guess I expected a better quality product. Will never buy anything with the name Rachel Ray on it again! Too bad she is making cookware that belongs in the landfill. This product should be pulled from all shelves and never sold again!

Great value when on sale. If getting a colorful set, the color starts to get dingy after a while. We got the grey set so it wouldn't be as noticeable. Good non stick set. Does the job.
I was hooked into buying these because of the color. Unfortunately, the color wears off with almost the first use and continues nonstop. (The last of 3 photos shows how pale the pans become. There is a small amount of slightly darker blue color around the base of the handle Today I rinsed the pan with tap water and dried it with a hand towel. Color came off on the towel (middle photo). This is more than 18 months after purchase and the color is still wearing off. The non-stick surface is non stick, but the coating is very thin and the pans themselves are very light weight. This means you must watch that your food does not burn. My other concern is that the bottoms of the pan wear out in a strange way that I have never had happen with any other pans in my life. The ridge that develops (first photo) is surprisingly very abrasive and is starting to feel as if it could actually cut a person's skin.

Thanks for your post, and we're sorry to hear about your cookware. The discoloration you are experiencing is oxidation due to dishwasher use for cookware lines that are not dishwasher safe. Automatic dishwasher use for cookware lines that are not dishwasher safe can compromise not only the exterior but the nonstick interior. I bought this cookware set on super clearance at my local store. Every single piece is extremely lightweight and I worry that it will not stand up to everyday use. Having said that, the first thing I cooked was bacon and eggs. Terrific non-stick performance, so no complaints there. I bought the salt grey set and the color is very good looking. I just can’t help but think these items are cheap because there is no weight to them. Also, the pots are tiny! I absolutely love the three utensils that came with the set, but that does not justify the full retail price. The set averaged out to 3.50 per piece for what I paid, so I will keep and see how long they last. But don’t pay full price! You can find a better set at Target to invest in.
