Cats Would NOT Eat!

My cats refused to eat this food, and they’ll eat anything - dog food, crackers, stuff on the floor, you name it. Can’t recommend this product unfortunately, but it seems to have high quality ingredients.

My two cats are now going on 13. They were Ferrell for almost a year when I took them in. I tried 12 different kinds of cat food until I tried them on the salmon and brown rice. It is the only food they will eat! Very hard to find!

Cat Developed Urinary Crystals

I was trying to switch my cats from Meow Mix thinking I needed to go healthier. 2-3 weeks later my one cat has developed urinary crystals which can be due to food. It seems way too coincidental that I switched food after 8 years and suddenly have this issue. I am definitely switching back to protect my other cats.

My cat is athletic to this. She's a one-year-old healthy cat, and this has her sneezing horribly and often. Changed her food problem solved. I wanted to like it. My other car was fine. But I can offer food that one of my cats can't eat.

Better quality food, reasonable price

Like humans, cats like to eat something different occasionally.. I've tried the Salmon recipe and the cats like it somewhat . It's a change of taste from their regular food. I usually mix it in with their regular food. Most of Rachel Ray dry kibble is dark in color and my cats don't fare well when it's dark. When it's mixed in with their regular they will clean the plate..

The best lower prices dry food

Considering the price point, this is WAAAY better than other cheap dry foods. The first ingredient is actual salmon and it's not full of by product and corn like the other brands in this price range. Small kibble size, and quality is consistent. Plus a portion of the profits goes to animal rescue!

Why do you, Nutrish, sell this as corn free?

Why do you fraudulently market this line as corn free? Corn is the third ingredient on your list! Not impressed
1 reply from Consumer Care team - 3 months ago
Thank you for reaching out about our Nutrish Real Salmon & Brown Rice Cat Food. The product does list on the packaging that ground corn is not an ingredient. Ground corn consists of whole corn kernels that have been pulverized, whereas corn gluten meal is the extracted protein from the corn. Ground corn and corn gluten meal are considered two independent ingredients, and as such, while ground corn is not an ingredient in this product, it does contain corn gluten meal. Please know our products are truthfully labeled in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations set by the FDA.

We have a HUGE maine coon who loves to eat, but also loves to groom and has a lot of hair balls. He still has hair balls, but I have noticed we deal with them significantly less while using this food. He truly loves dinner time every night, and that is saying something! Can you imagine eating the same thing every day for every meal? I Couldn't! But Morgan is always thrilled when he hears the kibble rattle into his dish. I can't speak to the flavor, as I have never actually tasted it- But I can tell you that the cat literally drools for it. It seems to fill him up, his coat is always shiny, and he has had absolutely no health problems. Our guy is a total senior (16 years old) and keeping him happy is my priority. Please don't ever stop making this food!

My cats are so,so,so picky and they love this . My cat with hair ball issues has no problems digesting this. I’ve haven’t heard her gagging or coughing up at all which for her is so rare. I’ve tried so many brands but this is absolute best for our cats. 💜

My cat Paws absolutely loves Rachel Ray's dry food. The cat food itself is the perfect size! Not too small and not too big. The food doesn't upset his stomach or cause any complications and I can tell he really enjoys the flavor with how happy he is to eat it.

I am so excited how much Charlie love this food!! The only problem is the last bag I purchased had a lot of just crushed crumbs in it more than the actual food. This is very frustrating when it costs so much. Please pass the word along if you read this to the manufacture to put food not crumbs in the bag. Thank you, Mrs. Crowe
