I used to buy this a lot when I ate pasta, I loved it. I noticed the glass jar versions always used extra virgin olive oil, while the larger bulk plastic bottles used plain olive oil. This was under ownership of Unilever. The new owners of this brand, Mizkan, cheapened the product to recoup costs of buying the brand from unilever.

My husband and I were excited when we saw this since it had minimal ingredients. However, we were very disappointed in the flavor. It tasted like watered down tomato sauce. No seasoning. Definitely no garlic flavor.

This is so bad I threw it out after a couple of bites. I suspect this is a gimmick to try to fit in with the low-sugar fad. You all have a good product in the chunky style sauce with onion and garlic. Just cut down on the sweetness of that and make it better instead of pushing this "Simply" nonsense.

Ruined my dinner and will never purchase the product again. I actually tossed the rest of the lasagna I made with it. I just couldn't stomach eating it. If you don't like olive oil, don't buy this product.

I bought the double cheddar. Opened it. White stuff on top. I get a fork to see what it is.....MOLD. I just bought it! Expiration date on top of lid is MAY 6, 2022. Really. Tried calling customer service. No answer.
