Doll is beautiful everything is perfect BUT, I had to sew the Velcro on the corset after talking it off once, the vinyl on the shirt is coming up and it’s hemmed with the raw edge facing out. Which is weird because raw seems like that are made fun of in the show :/ I shouldn’t need to know to see to fix a doll out of the box

This doll is very beautiful. Her hair is amazing. The doll and accessories are good quality. The only issue is, these dolls are nearly impossible to dress because the clothes are so tight! I don't know how a child could possibly do it. It was purchased for a five year old and she couldn't even begin to get the clothes on. Her ten year old sister was able to get them on after some serious struggling and a lot of frustration! I got the doll on sale for 50% off, so it was a great price!

This doll has beautiful rainbow braids tucked into her dark hair and a very sweet face. Her clothes are arguably muted, but that's great for people who want a more realistic palette. Her drum set is fun for play and dioramas--the pedal actually works. :-) This doll is expensive, but seems made to last with high quality construction and tiny details--the jewelry and gloves are likely to get lost, so make sure they either stay on her or are saved in the right place!

I love the idea/design of her hair. Unfortunately, the declining quality control of MGA strikes again! Her braids were pulled out in multiple spots and (FYI) once you try to unbraid the hair to fix the issue, it will not stay braided. So the frizz struggle is real here. The drums are cool and so are the extra clothes. The gloves are a little cheap and hard for a child to get back on. There were not any issues with the other items so far. The one boot was super difficult to remove… I mean pulling with two people in opposite direction “difficult to remove”. As far as appearance (aside from the messed up hair) I would love to give her 5 stars, but I took 2 stars off due to play value. The braids do come undone quite easily and start to unravel when played with by my 7 year old daughter. Also, the joints are quite a bit stiffer than the other RH doll series. While their arms move smoothly, Vanessa’s do not. My daughter loves these dolls and I don’t mind buying them for her. Little tip though, always purchase 2-3 of the doll because your chances of getting one without a defect is 1 in 3 from my experience. The quality controls just seems to be getting worse.

My daughters love the doll, but for the price a few things could be better. One of the little drums broke off the first day and they weren’t playing rough with it. Her little bracelets don’t stay on good. Overall she is great but for the price I just think some of the accessories could be slightly better quality.

Do not purchase this doll online.. When it arrived the box was destroyed and it had about 3 pieces of tape on it I’m assuming they tried to fix the box. My only thing is this doll is 50 plus something dollars and should be delivered in good condition. Something told me to take the reviews I read into consideration but I thought it can’t be that bad… well I was wrong. I called the target store immediately they told me to bring it in. I ended up returning it and purchasing something else. Even the ones inside of the store was bad. Just thinking about my child having to open this on Christmas Day made me mad.
