Description
Since 2000, Broiler Pans have typically not come with new range purchases. This #1 SELLER is a welcome replacement for old broiler pans or a new addition to every kitchen. Broiling allows users to quickly cook food in a healthy way. The grill pan allows fat to drip away from food, where it is collected in the base pan below. The high heat often used in the broiling process traps juices, and can give meats and other foods a bit of added crispness, similar to that of the grilling process, without the hassle of lighting charcoal of waiting for the gas grill to heat. Perfect for fish, beef, pork, roasts, and veggies.

Q: I used vegetable oil on the pan when making meatloaf in the oven and now it is all sticky. How do I clean the rack?
A: Hi Barbara, Thank you for your question. Sorry to hear that your're left with a sticky residue. All pieces are dishwasher safe, so they can be cleaned in the dishwasher. To remove difficult messes: Create a paste using two parts baking soda and one part water and spread paste over the mess. Let the paste sit for 10-15 minutes, then scrub with a scratch-free sponge using with warm, soapy water. (Do not use any kind of metal sponge or steel wool to clean this item, it can damage the coating.) If the baking soda paste doesn't remove the residue, try cleaning it with cleaning product Bar Keepers Friend. In the future, we do not recommend using oils when broiling. We hope this information is helpful!

Q: Can I use any type of abrasive cleaner on this?
A: Hi SgFM, You should NOT use any type of abrasive cleaner on Range Kleen's Heavy Duty Porcelain Broiler Pan & Grill. The porcelain coating over steel is a sprayed on colored glass and glass can scratch. Once that surface is scratched and the pan is heated and cooled time and time again that could cause scratches to grow bigger and eventually pot the porcelain off the metal exposing the steel which could prematurely rust.
