Bought this for my granddaughter for Christmas and because there has been snow on the ground and driveway she hasn't been able to ride it. Now that the snow is gone it won't hold a charge and the window for return is closed.

Bought 2 of these for christmas presents. One of them already has stopped functioning. I've troubleshot the issue down to a bad gyro board as the most likely cause. (Calibration, battery issues etc. all vetted). it's charged but just beeps when turned on and then turn off. bottom line is one of my two boys doesn't have a functioning hoverboard anymore after about 1.5 month of use.

Christmas Gift Disappointment

What a total disappointment. Purchased for Christmas, read and followed the instructions. The hoverboard only held a charge for the first 2 rides and never charged again. Thankfully, Target accepted our return without a box. We replaced for a Jetson and we’re hopeful this will be a better product.

My daughter has had this for about 9 months and her and our other children enjoyed it for the most part. However, recently the hoverboard malfunctioned and one wheel would not stop spinning. It made black marks across our carpet ran into the walls. We got it turned upside down but were unable to turn the device off with the power button. Eventually we had to remove the bottom cover from the hoverboard and cut the power wires to stop the wheel from spinning. Not very impressed with the safety system in the electronics.

I bought two of these, one for each of my children for Christmas 2021. My kids love them a lot and my daughter still uses hers all the time without issue (nearly 9 months later). My son's got messed up somehow while he was riding it outside, however, and it won't stay centered now, so one side drops back a bit and the balance is off. We can't figure out how to fix this, but I know for a fact it's his fault. I believe he ran into a curb (versus just normal wear and tear). If you are getting these for riding on sidewalks (which we don't have), just in the driveway, or on carpeted areas, they'll last a while!

We've Been Two Of These Hovertrax Hoverboards. The First One Quit Working After About 2 Months And Wasn't Able To Hold A Charge Or Even Charge. Target Refunded And I Got Another Because It Was A Really Fun Toy. My Son Loved It And Other People Like To Try It. It Seems Sturdy And Work Well But Then Quit. The Second One Didn't Work After One Use. One Side Of The Hoverboard Quit Working While The Other One Worked. So I Don't Know What To Do Next. I Really Like It And Want One

I bought this for my 8 year old son for Christmas so he’s only had it a little over two months. I am very disappointed in this hover board. It barely stays charged for even ten minutes. Then today my son bumped into the wall (not hard I may add) and it completely quit working! It should be able to withstand what he did today. I will not purchase this brand again. The one star is for the looks because my son really liked the way it lit up.

Bought the red board for our son and the turquoise board for our daughter for Christmas. Both worked for about a month. At the end January the red one acted like it had a mind of its own and would almost throw the kids off. Then in February the turquoise one stopped working on just one side, only one wheel would go so they’d just go in a circle. Very disappointed. Thankfully Target is great about sending gifts back to Santa for us. ;-)
