A:Â (re)zips are made from an FDA-grade PEVA blend which is food safe, free of BPA and lead, biodegradable and also recyclable. (re)zips are safe for use in the freezer, however, they are not intended for microwave or high heat use. All hot foods must be cooled before storing in your (re)zips.

I really like these bags I bought them because I use so many disposable bags that it is a shame, I like to cut up green onions and cucumbers and different things I eat. I haven’t had these bags very long but I hope that they last. If they last me six months it will save me about 150 bags but if it last me a year then it would equal to 300 bags not thrown in the trash. I added some pictures they hold about two cucumbers cut up and about 1 1/3 bags green onions cut up so the size isn’t too bad although I may buy some bigger ones.

So far, I am loving this product. I only use it for sandwiches and it’s perfect. I’ve read some say they aren’t leak proof but I can’t confirm that since I don’t put any liquid items in them. I also hand wash mine and have never put it in dishwasher.
