The Reclaimed Wood Mirage removable wall and surface covering in a gray colorway is easy to apply, reposition, and remove. Simply peel and stick onto recommended surfaces. They are perfect for small projects; add new style to a door, furniture, or accent piece. It is not recommended to apply product to flat paints, textured surfaces, or surfaces in poor condition as product will not stick or damage could occur in removal. Q: Can this be easily removed without damage to the underlying paint?

A:Â We used this in our rental house as an accent wall over painted surface, it was up for almost 2 years and when we removed it there was no paint damage, no sticky residue, it came off super easy and left no visible damage at all! We also installed it on the tile surround of the fireplace and again when it was removed no damage or sticky residue...I LOVE this product, it's amazing!

Q: How is it in high heat? Do you think they can be used for cabinets in the kitchen?

A:Â I have had it up about a year, in my bathroom. I was worried about heat and humidity and so far have had zero issues.
submitted byAlison - 6 years agoA:Â I used this product on a tile surround of a gas burning fireplace with absolutely no problems and when I removed it after a year it came off beautifully with no remaining residue. Since moving we chose to use it on the wall in our garage and so far it has held up perfectly without fault. We live in a very hot climate and our garage is not climate controlled so to say it stands up well under heat is very true! So far in every application I have used this product I can say I'm more than pleased!

A:Â I applied this to textured walls with no issue...I believe the texture is called "knock down"....it's not super bumpy but it certainly isn't smooth. When I applied it I used my fingers and hands to smooth it instead of a tool, just to make sure the paper wasn't damaged. It worked great!

Follow the instructions. Must have 2 people! Also-use a new plush whiteboard eraser to smooth instead of a squeegee-SO much faster! I’m a first timer and did all the research before installing and although it did take a few hours, it was not that hard if you spend some time planning. (I didn’t use any windex as some reviews mentioned and I was still ok) My son’s bedroom is completely changed! I never compared prices but thought it was a little pricey for a giant sticker that I bought 5 rolls of to do a wall…
Leaves more to be desired. Nice in theory though.

There need to be cutting guides on the backside of the roll to help with measuring and cutting straight lines. I also would have liked for the paper to be a bit thicker so that if it does need to be repositioned it holds shape and also so it will help cover imperfections in the wall under it. Also wish there was more in a roll considering price point.

I had never done peel and stick wallpaper, or any wallpaper for that matter, and felt like it was doable. There is a bit of a learning curve to get your rhythm down. I did mine alone, probably would have been easier with two people. Read the directions and buy an extra role. I ended up wasting about half a roll on a mishap with a water spill and was so glad I had the extra on hand already with the same lot. I would recommend. With some of the other reviews I thought it was going to be way stickier. I wiped my wall lightly with rubbing alcohol before application to clean the wall. Good price, cheaper than a real shiplap/wood accent wall. Used for the laundry room to spruce it up.

Love this peel & stick wallpaper. Super easy to use and looks fabulous. My one suggestion is that the company would add gridlines on the back to make cutting a straight line easier. I purchased an Exacto knife to clean my edges once installed.
As many others have said, the wallpaper has a smell to it, but it goes away in about a week.

I love this product! I bought one roll a year ago but didn’t use it until I moved into my new place. I wanted an accent wall for my son’s nursery and this was the perfect product to use as we’re in an apartment. I like that it peels off the walls without ruining them. Very easy to use and cut! We do have slightly textured walls so I tested a tiny strip out for about a week and it never peeled off the wall. After applying to the walls, I realized I was going to need a couple more rolls as one only did two strips. I ended up needing 4 rolls for aprox. 90 sqft. For the price of each roll and how much you get, it seems expensive, but much cheaper then if using actual plank wood. I highly recommend using this stuff for small areas or accent walls.

I installed this by myself, it was doable but a pain in the butt! So it may be easier to install with two people. Originally I bought 2 sleeves of this to do a small wall, but quickly realized I would need at least 4 more rolls to complete the wall. The amount of product in each sleeve is not a lot given the price per roll. That said, the quality of this paper is great. I decided to do a different, even smaller wall instead so that I wouldn't need to buy more paper. The hardest part of install was cutting the sides down to line up with the ends of the walls. It's easily repositionable, and didn't peel the paint off my walls (although it did peel the ceiling paint off, so be aware of that and don't let it touch the ceiling. It took me 4 hours to do a very small wall, so it's not a "quick" project but can definitely be done in a day. Overall I'm very happy with the results.
