This definitely does hold liquids and rubber gasket comes out for in depth cleaning. It is susceptible to staining depending on food.

We normally go for the Rubbermaid Brilliance containers, but they're more expensive than I wanted for storing our pre-measured dog food. I took a chance on these Made By Design containers, and for basic needs they're pretty nice for the price. I'd even consider them for storing people food in a pinch. Bargain of the century? Maybe not. Despite claiming to be dishwasher safe, we have had a couple of containers warp, even on the top shelf, even on air dry. They're still usable, albeit no longer flat when filling and much trickier to attach the lid to. The lids, on the other hand, are beefier material and have held up with no issues. Going by feel of the plastic and the dishwasher experience, I probably wouldn't buy these if you plan on microwaving the container (even though they claim to be microwave-safe).

Love these bowls (bought 2)! Sturdy enough to withstand microwave & dishwasher. Can’t speak for dropping? Haven’t had any leakage issues.

The seal on this is great however sometimes it’s a little tricky to get the lid perfectly lined up and close it just right. That’s the only reason I took away a star. But it’s lasted and washes up great so I’d recommend!

We use these to hold small toys/toy accessories. Great for Barbie and smaller Schleich toys. Also work great for crayons and colored pencils.

These storage containers are great and rival some of my much more expensive containers. Great for packing lunch or leftovers. I use them for my pre-prepped fruits and veggies too.

The Rectangular Plastic Food Storage Container 4 cup - Made By Design™ is a great container for small storage. I've used it a number of times already to store leftovers in and have been highly satisfied at how nice the container is. You can tell that it is made well because the plastic is sturdy and not like other types of food storage containers I have owned. The 4 locking clips on each side of the container work great and are super easy to use. I love knowing that nothing is going to spill out of the container.

These are really good food storage pieces. I put watermelon in one and packed it for camping and there was no leaking and I have run it through the dishwasher a few times as well. I highly recommend these.

I love this lock and lock style container, the plastic is durable and easy to wash. Definitely would add more to replace old storage containers! I received this product at no cost for my honest review.

Great. Seals very tight. No fear ofit falling and spilling allover the floor. Note: when it states it holds 4 cups, that's exactly what it holds. There is not even a drop more it will hold.

Love this little container! Its durable has a great tight lid, holds about 4 cups, and hard plastic so easy to clean and transport things.

This container is awesome! You can fit a lot of food in it, including sandwiches and chips, hamburger and fries, or a nice size salad. The four clasps make me feel like my food is secure in the container and won't leak or spill out. I am very happy with this product! I would like to get a few more for meal prepping.

This four cup rectangular container is a great quality storage container. It's leak proof, easy to clean, and has a sleek design. So far so good washing it and it not staining orange like other brands. I like the snap side closures. It does what it's supposed to do.

Storage container is a nice quality, works great for small lunch item that you need to heat up in the microwave. It really does not leak!
