ReDo Skateboard 31" Pop Skateboard - Nightfall Palms

I was stoked to finally see a skateboard in one of the big box stores with an actual weight rating as I am on the heavier side at 187 lbs. I didn't want to spend a lot at first as it's been about 17 years and I didn't know if I could still skate. Turns out after about 20 feet of sketchiness, I can! I had such a blast. Everything is pretty good except the wheels, they are horribly inefficient, smooth or rough. Actually rough asphalt is undoable, I had to walk. I went to some 80A 58mm wheels from a name brand (I think?) with some 3mm risers and abec 7 bearings I had laying around forever (the stock bearings were decent actually) and it rides like a DREAM now, even better than I remember my old board riding. Before that I had to push every 1-2 seconds regardless of the surface, now it's like do I push? not yet? I'm still rolling!? Something harder like 99A around 53mm from a good brand should do just as well on a smoother surface.

Got this as a present for my boyfriend. First time he takes it out it cracks. Wasn’t even trying anything crazy. He’s 190 and it says it holds up to 220 pounds. Would not recommend.

Quality and design and not heavy

The nightfall palms is very colorful and my young beginner thought it was very pretty. Great sturdy skateboard and very reasonably priced.

The size of the board is perfect for him and he likes the design so much. We bought him blue protective gear for his knees and elbow. He has been doing amazing at riding it after a few days of struggle,

The wheels provide him with a smooth ride even on our asphalt paved street. He wears his helmet, knee and elbow pads while trying to balance on it, but so far he has perfected only riding on his bottom side for now. We live in a land locked state and he thinks it’s really cool to have palm trees on his skateboard. Overall, this board’s wheel bearings will provide any rider of any skill level with a smooth ride and is cool to look at as well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son was ecstatic when he received this skateboard. He has wanted one for quite some time, so seeing this made his eyes light up. He really liked the artwork and the color of the wheels right off the bat. He hasn’t had a skateboard before, so this is a good starting point for him. The size is right for a 10 year old, and he’s having a good time getting used to the feel and movement from the board. It articulated well in every direction, and has a lot of good grip on the top of the board to ensure you have traction. Now we just need to find smooth flat surfaces to practice on, because my driveway is neither!!

I got this for my daughter who is 11 now but my whole family plays with it! Even my husband, he likes to show and teach her how to do tricks on it. My teenage son uses it as well when she will let him. It's a smooth ride and the edges are great for tricks. We have gathering at out house quite often and everyone always wants to play with it and comments on the design. We just had a birthday party at my house last weekend and we had uncles and cousins on it!

However, this board actually seems very well made, and as sturdy as skateboards get. The artwork on the bottom side is very detailed. It almost looks like a custom artwork.

One of their favorite things about it is the cool design on the bottom. They also mentioned that the texture on the top of the skateboard is good, and it helps them stay on the skateboard. The wheels and bearings are very smooth, which helps as they are learning to ride. Overall, we are really happy with this skateboard!

She loves the palm trees and the colors. She's just learning how to ride but so far so good! The deck is widish so she is able to easily have her whole foot on the board. She can lean back and forth to turn and the wider deck makes it easier. Great skateboard!

The board is decent sized and has a nice weight to it. It was able to hold my son's weight and he was able to really practice and is learning to get better.
