It's good for shaping but it doesn't cut quite close enough. I also didn't realize that they were so small. If you have a product that cuts hair closer I'd like you to reccomend it to me.

I tried the trimmer for the first time a few days after I received it. It works very well, it's lightweight, and it's very easy to use. This is the first time I've ever used a trimmer myself and I am very pleased with it. It's a very good value for the money and I highly recommend this trimmer.

Excellent trimmer! My old Remington trimmer finally gave out so I bought this one. It is smaller and lighter, much easier to use than my old one. 2 passes over my head and I'm done.

Trims my beard very well. Hopefully the have some affordable attachments for beard trimming because as it comes it is more for hair. To be considered a beard trimmer it really needs a smaller detail blade as well.

I purchased these trimmers because my son lent me his pair and they cut like a hot knife through butter. That was surprising as my son has coarse hair and has destroyed many pairs of clippers after a single use. His hair is like copper wire and would just leave the blade dull and useless. He has had his pair for six months or so and they were still cutting like new. I knew as soon as I used his set of these clippers I had to have a pair of my own.

It had been out of stock for some time. I called them and they gave me a day it would be back in stock and it was. I ordered online and it shipped immediately. Got it in 2 days and the unit is great. Feels very good in hand with it's rubber sides. Runs quiet and with all the accessories I am very pleased. Nice product and real fair price.

Decided to do a quarantine haircut, and, not knowing how to do a 'proper cut' (my hair was 3-4" layered, and a mess), I decided to just get rid of it. I ordered this having no idea how to use it, except for watching a few videos. But, it was virtually mistake-proof (as long as you use the right size guard!!), and so easy to use. The guard ensures that you can't make a mistake, so it's pretty worry-free. I may grow my hair back out, but, now that I have this in my bathroom cabinet, who knows.

I used it mainly on my beard so far. It trims much more smoothly than the miniature trimmer I had been using (a different brand). Easy to maneuver because it is light weight for a full featured trimmer. Plenty of guides. Wish me luck when I try to cut my hair at home!

Amazing! I've used Wahl and Oster in the past and this is by far the best clippers I've ever owned. I cut my own hair myself. This trimmer easily grips in my hand, keeps cool & quiet, and is lightweight. Head easily removes for cleaning. Sorry I didn't buy these long ago.

I have used this a couple of times. I purchased this trimmer because it has a power cord, plain and simple. The trimmer does seem to get bogged down sometimes. Hopefully we can see some better or more robust hair trimming products from Remington someday, this trimmer seems to be a basic starter kit, and not anything that will perform strongly for years.

Love it. This trimmer has a powerful motor, no bogging down or pulling hairs like other cheap/standard trimmers I've regretfully used over the years. It cuts hair quietly, smoothly and efficiently. After having had to throw out a lesser quality trimmer after 2 months of light use, the Remington trimmer is a breath of fresh air and is my new go-to trimmer for sure. Totally worth the extra few bucks.
