Engineered tough to last a lifetime. The REMINGTON Virtually Indestructible Barbershop Clipper features a high-impact polycarbonate casing to protect its powerful interior and is backed by a lifetime warranty. A super magnet motor drives maximum power to the precision ground blades for 4x faster cutting performance*, and our exclusive POWERCUT Blade System keeps the blades properly aligned for a smooth, even cut every time. Plus, the 15pc kit puts the final touches on your haircut with: barber cape, 8 guide combs, barber scissors, blade oil and guard, cleaning brush, and a storage pouch to keep it all together. * compared to Remington HC1080
Would give more than 5 stars, if possible. Switched from Wahl. This Remington is better in every aspect. Lightweight, quiet (purrs like a kitten), very sharp blades for a quick cut. Comes in a hard case. All the attachments, good scissors and brush. And, the price. $28.49. Are u kidding me? If u believe everything that I said, and u should, you'll feel like you're stealing something walking out of Target.
Great so far. Good luck trimming the back of your head alone ... but if you're that bold, this is a great purchase. My hope is to avoid my bi-annual haircut. Thick as my hair is, I will probably trim it *3* times a year! :-o It does take awhile, especially if you've grown an afro, as I had. It helps if you're ambidextrous - or, if you have someone who will give you a hand. In such cases, this kit is perfect. Lifetime warranty: Not bad. I give it - all of my thumbs up.
I had a set of clippers I'd used since I was 16 and I'm 41 now. They only died, because I didn't oil them. Yeah, I did it so sue me. So I set out to find new clippers. I wouldn't have thought it'd be such an issue. Customer complaints everywhere with about all brands. Then I found these. Rave reviews all around. Plus I'm a fan of durable things. I didn't expect them to be such a compact size, making the use so much easier. They have a nice strong hum and are easy to clean and adjust blade if need be. The power cord is a stiff heavy duty cord, so I'm sure it will become more malleable. Yet right now it feels like tugging while trying to use them. Not awesome. Once I get the cord straightened and the bends out it should be no issue. Overall I'm very pleased with the purchase. I cut my own hair with no guard and it seemed like everything is as it should be. The rubber grip is excellent. They aren't too loud. Cut pretty smooth, although I don't think I'd try to push through too fast. They are definitely sharp, so I'd be wary of how you use them. Not that there would be a issue, it's just a concern that comes to mind in my own use of them. I was very careful using them for the first time.
Got it for my boyfriend who is basically bald. He loves it, it’s pretty quiet and does the job it’s supposed to do. Easy to hold and maneuver. All in all a good buzzer. Doesn’t have smaller then a size 1 guard tho, so if you want shorter you’ll have to buy a smaller size.
