my hair is so soft and so thick that it has literally NEVER been able to hold a curl. EVER. not even when my salon stylist tries to curl it. finally, i saw this wand and decided to give it a try. AND OH MY GOD. it's insanely humid outside and my curls have officially lasted PERFECTLY over 13 hours, and are still going strong. i've never experienced such a great curl experience in my entire life. so thankful i decided to buy this!! i thought at first it may be difficult to use, but it's a lot easier than u'd think, so long as u r careful!! LOVE THIS THING.

This may be great for longer hair, but I find this curling iron difficult to use on my shorter, fine hair. The glove helps protect your hand, but it also makes it hard to separate my hair for curling. I miss my old clamping curling iron that didn't require contortions to hold the curling iron upside down over my head. I will be ordering a new "old-fashioned" iron with a clamp and will probably give this one away. Someone else will love it.

Had to buy a new wand after mine died. Had the old one for 10 years, so was used to it and wanted a similar one. This one was close, but with buttons instead of a dial, and the shape was perfect. Big difference between this one and my old one? The wand is sticky. Pro: hair doesn’t slip as you’re curling, so no uneven strands. Con: it’s hard to move the hair around when it’s not laying right where you want it. I’m sure I’ll get used to it, though. For me, the glove is useless. It’s too hard to feel the hair and make sure you’ve got a good grip, and I’m so used to curling my hair with no glove anyways I won’t be using it, but it’s there if you’re more comfortable with it. The color is nice, silver and rose gold, very pretty. Heat is nice, lower heat works great for me (roughly 300-320) and it’s heated in less than 2 minutes. Hope this one lasts me as long as the first!

This curling wand works very well for my daughter and me. I have thick wavy hair. My daughter has medium thick more fine straight hair and for both of us it holds the curl all day. We even slept in the curls and they still looked nice the next day. We used a texture spray before curling and hairspray afterwards. This is worth the money. No need to buy a very expensive one. This works great.
