I have the Revlon Colorstay foundation ( Natural Beige 220 Combination/Oily skin), It’s amazing, but I think it’s a little bit light on my skin, and I need just a little bit darker shade, So which Shade should I get?
I can't believe they've discontinued the "Normal Finish" for "Oily/Dry" skin. This new Matye version does not have the same amount of coverage, and comes off much more quickly than the old version. I'm so sad, as this was my absolute favorite foundation. The foundation for Normal/dry skin leaves me so oily by the end of the day. Bring back the old version!
I have been through every brand of foundation that you can think of and not one of them ever matched my skin tone nor kept my very oily skin at bay. I came across an ad for the Revlon Colorstay foundation and decided to purchase it for the first time today and reluctantly try it out before I gave up altogether. To my surprise it was very easy to apply and the color (400 Caramel) blended in perfectly with my skin tone. I honestly could not tell that I had makeup on. The look was very natural and just as the ad said...it stayed in place and I didn't have to continuously blot my face throughout the day due to oil and shine. This foundation is definitely my new favorite. I love it!!! Thanks Revlon!
So, I never been more in love with a foundation as the revlon colorstay, and I’m talking about the soft flex version when it didn’t came with a pump. Oh men, that foundation could survive everything and more. It was so matte, stayed put and looked gorgeous. No pores, no shine. When they stopped making that version I did try the new version but it was no longwear and it made me very oily. When I saw they changed it again I was hoping they brought back the soft flex version. But no. I feel your pain Shar! I have never found a foundation that was so good as the revlon soft flex colorstay foundation. Please bring back that foundation!!
I decided to try this foundation a few weeks ago...it's amazing! The color match is wonderful, coverage wonderful and it's def 24 hours of wear. I would choose it over any more expensive brand that Ive tried.
I am writing you... Revlon... again. I wrote last in March 2018 (003435407A) I love you but geesh! I have been using this in 400/Caramel for oily/combination since at least 2008 when it had "soft flex" and no pump. I cannot stand the new formula. I bought it in June 19 and it was soooo watery I thought it was defective. I turned the bottle upside down it was so fluid it was just rolling around in the bottle! I threw it out and switched to Maybelline Fit. That does not last long without breaking down for me even though the color match is OK. I bought another bottle of the new "Matte" Revlon Colorstay this month (Sept 19). Although it is not as fluid and watery as the last one I bought, my T Zone never looked oily before, my pores are just seeping through by the time I go to lunch...smh. There is nothing Matte about this. It is too thin a liquid to be Matte! Please revert this back to what it was. I have been using this for over a decade religiously and I am sooo disappointed.
