Q: Hello, from a review below, do these glasses have an engraved branding from Riedel or are they free of this mark? I've never seen such a thing on a wine glass.

A: I have these glasses and they have the RIEDEL branding on the base. I believe that all Riedel wine glasses do. I like it - makes me feel like I'm drinking from the more expensive Riedel glasses :)

These are lovely classic wine glasses designed for white wines. The glass/crystal is quite fine, so the are very nice to drink out of. They would probably be fine for most reds, too, at least they would be for me (although I also bought a set for red wines at the same time). They fit in the dishwasher very well, which was especially important. I will be ordering more.

These are pretty glasses, but "Reidel" is engraved on top of the base of the glass. Not being able to "remove the label" annoys me.

After reading some of the negative reviews I was a little hesitant to purchase this set of wine glasses. However, after washing them for the first time, one glass rolled off the counter. I picked it up and not a single scratch was left on the glass. I'm impressed so far and the size of the glasses are perfect.

These are terrific everyday wine glasses, though it's true they are not as fine as the normal Riedel lines. For example, I don't believe they are lead crystal, so the walls are a little thicker, and the shape of the glass is generalized to "white", as opposed to something more specialized. On the other hand, you're getting a box of four for the price of one Riedel Vinum glass. You won't have to cry too hard if one breaks now and again. All in all very happy with them.

I received the wine glasses quickly by USPS. I immediately knew there was broken glasses in the box when picking it up. I contacted Target about the issue and they almost immediately shipped a new box of glasses. No problem at all with glasses or delivery by FedEx. I highly recommend these wine glasses. I've always loved them for their very thin lip. I'm really picky about the thickness of the glass. Great value for these, also.
