Started with the Starter Kit, and ended up buying the 6-pack of door sensors, alarm listenter, combo fire/Co2 alarm, and flood sensor. I already had the upgraded plan since I have 4 Ring cameras, so the professional monitoring wasn't anything more to spend. I've had it installed about a month now. Great system. Easy to install. My 2 40# dogs set off the sensor once (in Away Mode) at about 7ft above ground level, as suggested. I'm assuming they were both on the couch and jumped off at the same time, triggering the motion, as individually they didn't. Rather than turn down the sensitivity, I just moved the sensor higher to about 8 feet. No false alarms since then. We set it home armed, home every night. I did use the range extender to reach the water flood sensor I put out in the utility room to catch if the hot water heater has a leak, and so "unreachable" error never occurred a 2nd time. Ring is constantly adding features so you really can do just about everything. I have it set up so all Ring cameras turn lights on and start recording if the alarm is tripped. Later I will probably add a sensor on the garage to see if open, but for now I have a Ring camera which I pull up to see video of it being open. Saved me a couple times when the garage remote on my keychain was accidentally hit and the door opened. I have it integrated with Alexa on Echo Dot and Shows, so I hear "motion detected in the garage" if the door opens, or if someone walks past the garage if I've left it open.
