The Riona Accent Table's bold, classic style embodies the polished aesthetic of antiquity. Crafted with a forged iron base in gold leaf finish and black or clear glass tabletop, it perfectly complements Contemporary, Glam, Mid-Century or Modern style interiors. This metal and glass accent table combines a classic style with an artistic flair. This petite table is able to support up to fifteen pounds. The Riona features an iron cross shaped base that provides an elegant dependability.
Quality is definitely an issue. I am keeping the table, but more out of convenience than anything else. The gold on the legs flakes off and even from a distance looks cheap. The legs are quite unstable, even once fully assembled. I have to be careful if I am putting anything heavy on it. It clearly can topple over easily. Can't believe I paid over $100 for this.
When I looked at the directions, I expected the assembly to be super easy. The steps aren't difficult, but the legs of the table didn't fit well together. That caused the base to be very unstable. Also, my hands were covered in gold paint while I assembled this. It's too bad because it's such a beautiful table, but the quality is very poor. I'm returning this.
I purchased this table as an accent for my daughter's nursery. When going to assemble the table my husband and I noticed that our hands were covered in gold paint. I would not recommend this piece unless you plan on treating the metal base to keep the paint from rubbing off. Seems hazardous and messy.
