A: Hi Kathy! Thanks so much for the question. Yes this item, Ripple Original Milk in our 48oz bottle, needs to be refrigerated. We do have another item, Ripple 32oz Shelf Stable Milk, that can be held outside the fridge until opened. That item is not yet available at Target (but we are working on it!). Yes, that can be accurate! Our products stay fresh in your refrigerator until the date printed on the bottle. However, once opened, we recommend you consume them within 7 - 10 days for freshness.

love this milk - it tastes amazing, love the nutrition on it, i even tried frothing it for coffee it worked albeit not as nice as the barista brands or normal 2% cows milk i'm not lactose intolerant but if i ever become intolerant would def drink this daily/weekly

I will have to say I personally think this taste pretty similar to 2% milk but it does have an after taste that’s kind of grainy. BUT it makes my upper stomach hurt VERY bad, I read up on it and saw similar experiences from other people. We might just be yellow pea intolerant lol. I was just giving this milk a try but I’ll be sticking to my oat milk. The pain can get really unbearable!

I’m from England and after coming to the States Every evening, I have a bowl of cereal and invariably find myself with a stomach ache.I figured it was just weird American food... I lived with it for years and finally my friend said it might be a food allergy ie: milk.. I tried several fake milk products (almond) Yuck!! Then along came ripple.. Wow!! No more sour stomach and works with all cereals.. Thank you ripple mates!

My favorite non-dairy milk

This is the only non-dairy milk I've found so far that tastes incredibly similar to real milk. It's actually so rich and creamy that I water it down slightly to get it closer to 2% milk. It also lasts a very long time in the fridge, even after opening. My only real issue with this milk is that it tastes different (bad) when heated, and forms a weird skin and clumpy bits when used in hot drinks. I only use this milk when cold because of this issue.

Seriously, I would like to thank whoever invented this milk. There are some people who are allergic to milk, like me. I found out about pea milk. It was an amazing discovery. The milk is flavorful and it keeps me full. Plus, it just tastes like real milk. Finally, its reasonably priced. I am impressed with it. So, I will highly recommend those who have a milk allergy to try this.

I have always been a milk lover, had it with every meal. I realized a couple years ago that milk just didn't love me. I have tried so many alternatives and can not believe how people can stand drinking them. This is the ONLY milk alternative that tastes good and it has so many nutrients compared to others as well! No it's still not the exact same as milk but it is so creamy and flavorful that I don't care. I wish I could thank the creator of this because without it I would have nothing but water to drink.

WARNING While this product raves about not including the top nine allergens it is made in a facility that also processes allergens!!! This is just as dangerous as ingesting your allergen.

In the meantime to answer your question, Ripple refrigerated milks are manufactured without any of the "Big 8" allergens, plus sesame. We partner only with carefully selected suppliers and facilities that adhere to strict protocols for the prevention of allergen cross contamination. In fact, in keeping with industry best practices, ALL our suppliers must provide statements declaring that their products are free of the common allergens, and our facilities practice segregation storage and handling of ingredients, equipment cleaning, and allergen testing. Our lines are cleaned, sanitized and tested for cleanliness prior to every Ripple production run, and if any of the common allergens are run prior to Ripple Milks, the line is tested for any trace allergens. LOVE THIS! I’ve been searching for a cow milk alternative due to a protein allergy from it. I like that this is a thicker consistency than many other milk alternatives. There is just an ever so slight aftertaste but it isn’t strong/offensive in my opinion. If you like peas, I don’t think it would bother you. The aftertaste is a very subtle pea flavor.

I'm sorry but this is disgusting. I love real milk but I'm very lactose intolerant. I've had different milk alternatives that have been alright but this is straight up not it. It has a rough chalky texture that milk should never have. I wasted my money. Will never buy again.
