Rollplay Flex Kart XL Pedal Ride-On - Teal

This was super easy to assemble in just a few moments. Little guy jumped right on and took off. Only real complaint is that the turning radius is huge and can be a challenge. Other than that, he loves it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and was so excited to have been selected When the Kart arrived I was pleasantly surprised to see how easy it was to put together All we had to put on were the two back wheels My son who is five years old was excited to get on and had no issue pedaling which he struggles with sometimes on his larger bike so he was able to really take off on his own and control his ride which he loved He fit comfortably on it and it was a nice feature to be able to adjust the seat to his comfort The fact that the handle folds down and the Kart becomes compact is great for storing this item in our garage since we have minimal space in there Overall we are really happy with this Kart and looking forward to riding more this fall

As soon as we received this box, I knew she would be in love with her new go-kart. The parts are well built, sturdy and easy to assemble. I had absolutely no trouble putting it together. As soon as I assembled it she wanted to ride it right away! She was in awe of this go-kart inspired ride-on. We had to adjust the seat closer so she could reach the pedal, but once we adjusted the seat she was excited to ride it. She still asks til this day if we can go around the block everyday so she can ride it. She loves it so much! Once we are back home and we are ready to fold it, it is easy to store for the next day. Doesn’t take too much space despite living in an apartment. I don’t think there is anything I would change about this kart. It’s well built and easy to store. After having my daughter ride this kart around the block and at the park, I can honestly say that she loves it, it’s safe, and easy to store. Now this is something I have recommended to my friends with kids. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My five year old twins are OBSESSED! They are normally very good at taking turns, but this Kart is testing their limits. If I hadn't received this product from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I would have purchased it for the kids. They really love it! First, the set up is very simple. All tools were included in the box and the instructions were easy to follow. The steering mechanism is a little stiff at first, but it does get easier for the kids as they use it. The color is great, totally unisex and appealing to everyone. While this is technically a "folding cart" it does not collapse down very far. So, don't plan on taking this with you in the car...unless you have a giant trunk. If you have limited garage or storage space, this will be tricky to store. It does not drive well on grass or gravel (gravel driveway makes this pretty tricky) so be prepared to help your kids get this down to the pavement. And, even though the packaging shows as a child using the Kart without a helmet, I would really recommend treating this as a bike. It is very low to the ground and therefore harder for drivers to see. I will be attaching a long flag to the rear and some reflectors.

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this pedal ride-on vehicle. She was so surprised. It did take her a bit to get used too, her feet kept slipping off the pedals. I do wish there was removable straps to hold their feet in place for the smaller kiddos. Her foot still slips now, but was less often. I LOVE how easy it is to store, the fact that it folds up so you can fit it into spaces you normally wouldn't for storage. The color is gorgeous! The frame is amazing quality. Honestly, I wish I could ride this bad boy too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my 4 year old through Stellar Review panel. I was excited to get this for my son, who has a similar toy already, but has grown out of it. This go kart was easy to assemble, took literally 10 minutes from opening the box to getting its first use. The wheels attach easily and it unfolds no problem at all. I had actually told my son we’d build it together and it was just enough to make him feel useful but very simple. The seat adjustment is straightforward and will definitely be good to get extended use from it. At its largest size a tall 7 year old could probably still fit, and at its smallest my 18 month old could basically reach the pedals. The design seems to be very sturdy and robust, The wheels are solid but the rubbery plastic tires provide more grip and better feel than the former plastic designs. The fixtures align well so nothing rattles too! The one downside is the turning radius, which is far too large for many open spaces. Turning a 90deg corner on the sidewalk is impossible, and it’s hard to play on a narrowish driveway. Overall I’d say it’s very well built and functions great, just not a go kart for confined spaces

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Flex Kart Pedal Ride-on Vehicle is so awesome!! First of all, it came almost completely out together. We we're worried it would come in a hundred pieces but all we had to do was out the back tires and the seat on, which was extremely easy to do! It was ready to go in 15 minutes. We loved how easy the instructions were and that this pedal Ride-on Vehicle comes with a 1 year warranty service. The frame is super easy to fold or unfold and we love that it can be stored easily and not taking up a ton of space in the shed. My 5 year old daughter is just under 4 feet tall and fits perfectly with the seat locked into the front position which is awesome because it gives her plenty more space for growing. She was able to catch onto steering and pedaling pretty quickly and even said she enjoyed riding on this more than her regular bike with training wheels. She liked the color and how it was designed as well, she said it reminded her of a motorcycle. The only problem she had was her feet slipped off the front of the pedals a lot so if there was anything we could suggest to make this pedal Ride-on Vehicle any better it would be to have something in the front of each pedal so she could put the front of her shoe against it. I think that would help keep her feet from slipping off. Besides that, this pedal Ride-on Vehicle is a total blast and she absolutely loves riding it. We were able to assemble it in minutes and the finished product was very sturdy. Our kids, age 3 and age 5, couldn’t wait to take it for a ride. The wide base of this go-kart inspired pedal vehicle made it very easy for the 3 year old to ride and steer. The adjustable seat made it easy to switch the setting to accommodate the longer legs of the 5-year old. Both were able to steer and maneuver with ease and they loved taking turns on the Flex Kart XL! Folding made it fit in the closet for easy access and outdoor use. We couldn’t be more pleased with this product and thank Stellar Product Testing Panel for letting us try the Flex Kart XL Pedal Ride-On vehicle.

Assembly was super easy and the seat and leg adjustments gave her a perfect fit. The rubber tires are really great quality and made her feel safe zipping around the neighborhood. For a kid-powered vehicle, it has a really sturdy construction. I love that it can grow with her and provide years of fun and exercise. The best part was that it folds up to about the size of a vacuum. It easily fit in the back of my SUV. My younger children cannot wait to get big enough to ride it, too. My only suggestion for improvement is that my daughter was looking for a place to put her drink. Perhaps a future model can include a cup holder. Other than that it is an awesome vehicle!! I am so thankful to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for the opportunity to try out this kart.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall we’ve been happy with the FLEX Kart XL pedal ride-on. The kids love it and have a blast riding across the yards of the neighborhood. Though we like the kart, there are a couple “flaws”, so I’ll list out the pros and cons. PROS: - Tires are nice and grippy - The steering wheel is easy to grab - It’s easy to pedal - Seat is easy to adjust (but wish it came forward just a little more) - Assembly was easy - Setup and Breakdown is one handed, quick, and simple - Compact design so takes up minimal space - Can be picked up with one hand once folded, lightweight for what it is. - Neat design and overall look - Teal/black color combo looks good CONS: - Turning radius from outer front tire is almost 18ft (the width of an average driveway) wish it was more like 12ft - It’s fixed gear so it has no brakes and doesn’t coast. Pedals are always moving in the direction you’re moving and at the speed you’re moving, even in reverse. Could be a safety issue for some kids, and it makes hilly areas tricky. I would recommend this product, so long as you have the space to turn and your child is a confident/proficient peddler. This would be fantastic in a wide-open field! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 4 year old absolutely loves this bike! He calls it is Mario Kart bike, as it closely resembles a go cart. The color is bright. The tires at first felt like plastic, but then I realized that they were actually a very hard rubber. The bucket seat is sturdy, adjustable, and comfortable for my son. He has had no issues staying in his seat. We have bought a few other bicycles for my son to practice and learn peddling, but he’s never seemed to be able to get the hang of peddling and steering at the same time. Only 10 minutes on this bike and my son was able to get it down. He does still occasionally run off the road or sidewalk when he gets distracted, but my husband and I are thrilled with his eagerness to figure it out so that he can ride his “go cart.” We like that it can be easily folded to not take much room when traveling. We are on our way to go to a national park this weekend, and it’s currently folded and packed up in the trunk of our van. If you are looking for a stylish, durable, and easy to transport bike, I definitely recommend this FLEX Kart. It was easy to put together and she has a blast riding it. It’s different from a traditional bike, and she loves pedaling around in it and it goes fast! Especially downhills. Some changes I wish this bike had: 1. Adjustable seat-my daughters legs are just the right size, but my younger son wants to ride it desperately and the seat isn’t very adjustable. 2. There was a hand break- this bike can go fast- esp downhill and the pedals can away from my daughter so having another way to break would be ideal.

I think this is a fun ride-on for a kid- it’s like a car, but rides easily with pedals like a bike. It sits low to the ground and has a seat that can adjust back as your kid grows, so the play lasts a little longer before they outgrow it! The great part is that it FOLDS! it will be winter soon here and so the outdoor toys need to be put up, and I’m glad this will fold flat for easy storage. The only thing that becomes a slight drawback, it’s that it just rides a little clunky. The steering makes wider turns than on a bike or powered car, so my 4 year old son got a little frustrated maneuvering it- I think he was hoping for a little quicker turns like a go-kart would have. Overall, he enjoyed riding it around and cruising down the street to meet his sister at the bus stop- and she had fun riding it too when she got home. It’s a fun one for them, for sure!

The design of this pedal cart is very sleek, ours is teal and very sporty looking. I love the "Room saving" design the way the wheels and steering column fold is very cool! This is a GREAT feature for storability and or when packing it in the car for a trip to the park. My Sons are six and large for their age so the adjustable seat is a very important feature as well, they had no problem steering and pedaling this go kart style pedal quad. The way the wheels are positioned makes this pedal kart extremely maneuverable both forward and reverse. My boys have a great time and loads of fun using this toy. The biggest challenge we have is whos turn it is to use it next and getting them to share!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't the most excited about having another bike or electric in our garage at first but wanted to give the Flex Kart a try. Boy was I wrong, it is more than worth the space it takes up. The kids have used it every day so far so we haven't even tried the folding feature yet. I love that it is a little lower to the ground and has such a great seat. It makes it easy and accessible for all ages. I have a 4 year old, 6 year old and 8 year old. They all love it. The kids have varying athletic ability and it works for all of them. Several neighbors have asked about the Flex Kart because it is unique and a design they haven't seen before. It seems very sturdy and like it will last a very long time. The bike is stable and easy to pedal. The kids have noticed that there aren't brakes so they have learned to turn to the side to stop if they get going too fast. One Issue: When we built the Flex Kart there was a bolt missing to attach the steering wheel to the post. My husband couldn't figure out a fix from the garage so he contacted the manufacturer. Within 3 days we received the bolt and the Flex Kart was finished and ready for the kids. One hoped for improvement: because the Flex Kart is a little lower to the ground than a traditional bike it can be a little less visible to street traffic. I would suggest adding a safety flag in the rear that sticks up higher or a flashing Blinky light to make it more visible to drivers. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I showed a picture of the FLEX Cart XL to my 4 year old, she told me she didn’t want to play with it, BUT now that it’s built, she’s on it all the time!! It’s easy for her to steer and pedal. She rides it around our house and easily maneuvers around furniture and any other obstacles. I love that it’s easy to fold up and put in the car to take to the park. It’s compact enough to fit in the trunk of my car. The teal color is vibrant and very gender neutral, which I love. We really love this toy, my only complaint is that the directions for building it weren’t completely clear and we had to take it apart and rebuild a few times before we got the wheels moving correctly-this is the only reason I give it a 4 out of 5. My daughter absolutely loved this pedal kart. The colors were turquoise and black and the seat was super comfy according to her. She said her bottom never hurt not once! The length was perfect for legs to pedals and it was very sleek! My daughter thought it was very cool and thought that the medals were easy to push given the size of the kart. She thought the wheels were great going over the asphalt. I thought the size of the kart was great and thought there was going to be an issue bc of the weight being on the heavier side, but it folded up so nicely that wasn’t even a factor anymore. The only thing I would change is making the tires rubber and not plastic. Overall we loved this pedal kart!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right out of the box I knew my kids would love it (and they subsequently immediately started fighting over who got to ride first!) Even though it is made for older kids (I have a 4, almost 5, year old), the low-to-the-ground design and sliding seat made it possible for even my 2-year-old to ride! The handle slot on the seat/back is super appreciated, not just for transporting and loading, but also for grabbing if your kid starts steering in a direction they shouldn't. My kids (and our friends' kids) loved riding it. The FLEX Kart seat was easily adjustable for switching from the older versus younger kids and they found the "go-kart" style steering wheel super fun and easy to use versus traditional bike or trike handles. For the compact folding feature, it is definitely easy to do. And once folded, not too difficult to maneuver (although still slightly heavy). I can't speak for transporting in a car or trunk since I drive a truck, and I just put it as is in the bed of the truck. However, I found the narrow fold SUPER convenient for getting inside the house and down the narrow stairs to our basement, which is where we store all our kids' larger outdoor toys since we don't have a garage. It would be nice if the seat could fold down too somehow to make it even easier to transport and I imagine that would make it easier to put in a car too. And if I were to wish one more feature, I think a little "beep" or air-style horn built into the steering wheel would be nice and "extra" fun for the kids. Now at almost six, she goes mountain biking with her dad. She was so excited to receive the FLEX Kart XL Pedal Ride-On Vehicle. We have it in teal, and it is a beautiful shade. My daughter not only rides it around our neighborhood, but in our backyard, and sometimes inside (though I tell her not to). It has a good weight to it, but is easy to store with the button underneath that collapses the steering wheel. It definitely fits in the back of our car! Riding around our neighborhood, we have received tons of comments and compliments on how cool this little kart is! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, I would give this ride-on toy a B+. There are some really nice features. The seat is adjustable, so you can move it for smaller/shorter kiddos. However, an adult probably needs to do it because the seat has slid off multiple times when kiddos have tried to adjust it. We have had a 4, 5, 7 and 8 year old ride it. The four year old wasn’t quite strong enough to pedal it without a boost. My five year old had to use a lot of strength but was able to ride easily once he got started. The 7 and 8 year olds had zero issues if they ground was flat! We live in a hilly area, so we have attempted it on both hilly and flat spots. It is super difficult for all of the ages we have tried to get it going on an incline. I am really glad that it folds down so that we can easily store it and transport it. One thing that I do not like is that I wish it had brakes of any sort. It has a reverse feature by backpedaling, but I think that the kids would feel more comfortable riding it if it had a brake. The toy also has plastic wheels. In my opinion, at this price point, rubber wheels seem more fitting. Overall, I enjoy it and think it’s a good toy to have in addition to regular bikes and scooters!
