Rowenta Ixeo Valet Steamer

The unit was dead on arrival. I plugged it in and nothing happened, no lights, nothing. This is unusual for Rowena but still, it shouldn't happen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before attempting to assemble and use the Rowenta IXEO All-In-One Iron & Steamer Solution, I read the entire enclosed instructions thoroughly to familiarize myself with it. The assembly process went very smoothly. Once assembled and the water tank setup and filled, it was time to turned on, I was surprised at how fast it heated up. The board can be height adjusted, used in both a vertical or horizontal position. If I choose to set it in the horizontal position and lower the height I can conveniently use it while I'm sitting down. The iron/steamer sits perfectly into the attached cradle rest, is super lightweight and easy to hold and maneuver. It doesn't take up much space in my laundry room and I like that it has wheels making for easy movement. A real plus for me is the auto shut off, it will go into standby mode after being idle for about eight minutes and completely shut down after thirty-eight. I will be honest I was a little nervous about using it for the first time, so I practiced on a few older pieces of clothing that all had different types of fabric. I got the hang of it pretty quickly, and before long I was comfortable with steaming things such as pillows and curtains. I have been using the Rowenta IXEO for the past couple of months and I'm constantly raving about how great it performs, and convenient it is, while recommending it to family and friends.

I love the portability and how I can hide it in my closet and pull it out when I need it. The setup itself is a little heavy.. in only 100 lbs so I need to use my strength to move it around. This might not be a problem for stronger people, but it was a downfall for myself. I do love that I have the option to iron or if I need to steam something it’s at the tip of my fingertips. It does have its pros and cons like anything else. I do feel that the ironing board could be a little bit bigger for garments that may be larger Or longer in size. Overall this has come in as a lifesaver for my business. I used to own a very small steamer that would require me to fill up after steaming a few things, this tank holds enough water for me to steam a lot more! If you have hard water make sure to clean your stuff periodically as it does leave calcification residue on the iron. Overall I give this a B+ . It definitely gets the job done for my small business!

I love that its all together in 1 bundle, so it makes getting wrinkles out of my clothes and my husbands suits a breeze. Our clothes look fresh, like they just came from the dry cleaner. The steamer itself is easy to use and extremely easy to handle. It glides over clothes like butter. The directions are clear and consice, I was able to use it with ease. I've always wanted a steamer, and I'm glad I got this one!

Its great to get one that can do both but this one not only does both but it does it great and so easy to use. My husband can now do all his shirts in one go on Sunday afternoon with the large (massive compares to a regular iron) water container I almost never need to refill it. It is a very sturdy piece and very comfortable to use although it is also portable (great wheels) if needed. The adjustable height on this makes it easy for husband (over 6') as well as myself and cleaning lady to use. We have been using this for over a month and cannot be happier.

This has a large removable water tank so, once filled you can use it a long time before refilling. I love the adjustable board for ironing. It heats up really fast so if you need to do something quickly, you can. It is a bit heavy to maneuver around if it’s in carpet.

Easy to put together, easy to use. It also has rollers for easy movement. It’s sturdy and when the board is folded it doesn’t take up much space. It’s so nice to always have it ready to go. I like how lightweight the iron itself is. It heats up quickly, puts out a lot of steam, and de-wrinkles the most delicate pieces without even touching them. This is a solidly built steamer that you can use on pretty much anything around the house. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such an amazing product. It comes with a booklet with assembly instructions. It took me less than 10 minutes to set this up. The steamer works so well! I love that the height of the board can be adjusted and can be tilted as per convenience. You can also use this on curtains and pillows. The steamer is really powerful and removes wrinkles so fast. I used to hate ironing clothes as it took so long, but with this it doesn't feel like a huge task anymore as it works so fast. It has a large water tank so you don't have to refill it very often.

I was pretty excited to unbox and try the IXEO All-In-One Iron & Steamer Solution. Out of the box it was pretty easy to put together but the instructions weren't the greatest. This system is very sturdy and didn't make me feel uncomfortable using it as a basic ironing board does. You have plenty of room to get the best press or steam. This machine is powerful and gets the job done while being lightweight and portable since it has wheels. Filling with water is easy and the water goes along way. Also storage is easy and doesn't take a lot of room. A small closet is plenty of room for this machine. I would highly suggests this product to others because I will NEVER go back to my old way of ironing/steaming.

I can throw all those other gadgets, including the awkward ironing board, away now. It’s compact so I can use it in my small walk-in closet or the office or my guest room and it’s compact and doesn’t take up a lot of room like my old ironing board. I fill the tank with water and the iron doubles as your handheld steamer. I was in the market for an iron/steamer for months but didn’t want to have a big ironing board I had to take out every time. I saw this and figured I would try it! The Rowenta has all the features I wanted. With its design it’s so easy to use and I just clip a shirt to the attached board and iron/steam away. I’m bad at leaving laundry in the dryer and now I can just steam the wrinkles away. Another added bonus is I can use the steam function on my couches, bedding, mattress etc to kill germs and bacteria with its steam technology! It’s a great feature that is definitely needed with kids and what the world is going through today. If your in the market definitely purchase the All in one!

This is a awesome steamer. Easy to use. Easy to fill... does the job right every time. I've wanted a good professional style steamer for a long time so I'm happy I purchased this one. I tried the small hand-held travel style steamers and they don't come close to the steam power of this amazing steamer. Once you steam a few items of clothing, you will quickly learn your own techniques - how to hold the garments to get the best press. I've steamed various types of fabrics from knits to jeans. I just love having the ability to steam sweaters and t-shirts quickly and go! It's such a time saver for freshing up folded garments before you walk out of the door. Once you fill the water tank lasts for a long time and it stores very easily in a small area of my closet. I love it!

I bought this multipurpose iron/steamer a few weeks ago and have fallen in love. It was easy to put together and it easily fits in my small laundry room. It's super convenient when I have tons of laundry to do and saves me a ton of time on making sure my clothes have no wrinkles. I will never use a regular iron again! The Rowenta IXEO All-in-One Iron + Steamer Solution is an amazing product for all steaming and ironing needs for all types of garments. It is very easy to use and it takes little to no time to get started. The three-position board is an amazing feature and very lightweight which makes it very easy to move around when ironing/steaming. The wheels at the bottom make it very easy to move from one room to another. Another amazing feature is the steamer is portable and can me taken anywhere without the need of the ironing board. I have used this product many times and have had never had any problems getting wrinkles out of any of my garments. I was able to use this product at no cost in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
