A: The Details page for this item says, "Dimensions (Overall): 6.5 Inches (H) x 8.81 Inches (W) x 13.81 Inches (D)" Maybe that is for the packaging of the entire group of four, because that certainly is not the size of a single container as shown... Target lists a separate single item, 3.2 c volume, with these dimensions: "Dimensions (Overall): 2.5 Inches (H) x 5.5 Inches (W) x 8 Inches (D)"

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rubbermaid Brilliance Pantry - Pantry Starter Set This is a really nice set of plastic storage containers. This 7 Piece Set is called the Panty Starter set. It has a nice variety of sizes that will be handy to almost everyone. I like that they are made of BPA free plastic, keeping food safe is as important as keeping it fresh. Each lid has a rubber seal and two clasps, they click shut very tight. The lids feel very solid and well constructed and when closed seem like they will do a lot to keep foods fresh. Rubbermaid Brilliance promises that the lids offer a 100 % airtight seal. So far under limited tests, that seems to hold up. The rectangular shape makes for more efficient self storage, and they are stackable. The two largest ones are rectangles that are 12 cup size and 16 cup size, I was able to fit a 5lb flour sack in the larger one and a partially used four sack in the 12 cup. I slid the bag right in, but I could have poured the flour right in the container. There are two tall narrow ones for spaghetti noodle boxes or other tall skinny food times 6 cups and 8 cups respectfully. The smaller ones are good for any variety of pantry items. It is called a pantry set and with the rubber gasket lids they are well suited for long term storage, but these containers would be great for general food storage. They are dishwasher safe and stain proof as well. I have not traveled with food in them yet, but they seem like they would hold up well for traveling foods even soups or sauces. I would consider them for a cookout or even a car camping trip. All in all, I am happy with these containers and think I will get a lot of use of them. I would probably get more of these to keep making my kitchen work better.

Wide variety of sizes, I filled them up with rice, soup beans, pasta, and ramen noodles. Fit in my pantry well. Love them! Now that I am older I want to keep my kitchen closet a little more organized. These get the job done with its air tight seal. Right now I have a hodgepodge of different containers which don’t match & some of them don’t keep my foods fresh for very long. I got the Brilliance Pantry Starter Set by Rubbermaid & so far I’m in love with them! They are stackable which is a big help in a smaller kitchen & the stored food items are visible so I always know how much I have on hand. The lids are interchangeable so there is no more hunting & searching for the lid that fits. The containers are light but seem very sturdy. They are easy to use & look great in my pantry. The lids are airtight so I don’t worry about anything going stale before I use it. They are very easy to care for, BPA free & Made in the USA. Now I just need to get more for things like my baking supplies, cereal & more snacks for the grandkids!

They are so easy to open and close. Clear so I know what is in what and all of the different sizes work great for storing so much and they can stack on top of each other. It makes my pantry look so fresh and well put together, I can't wait to pick up more of these. It comes with 7 containers of varying sizes and the respective lids. Each lid has a rubber seal and latches to really give these containers an air tight seal. The cereal stays super fresh, so you know that seal is really working. These are easy to clean and they stack perfectly. They are plastic but they dont look cheap or tacky. They are durable and they look really clean and simple, I am in love! I would recommend these to anyone who wants to freshen up the look of their pantry. I especially love being able to tell what's inside at a glance.

Normally I’m trying to switch out from plastic items to glass but not everything can. So these specific storage containers from this brand are my go too! I love how fresh and safely sealed my items are. I recently had a issue with book lice a weird bug that gets into books and pantry’s. I never knew about these and they were in bagged beans I had stored. Just eating and replicating away. Well from now on I put any items out of bags and boxes and into these storage containers! I love the water protection seal and the style an most of all the solid click to know it’s all closed!
